So during the downtime, I was visiting my fiancé. While out there, I bought the bigger Plague Doctor plush (he was 50 bucks), but he was too big to take back home. My babe's currently taking care of him until he can be shipped out here to be united with his tiny Plague Nurse waifu.

My cat has two plushies that he still likes. They used to be my old cats plushies until he sadly passed away. He doesn't carry around with him as much as he used to though, but they're kept in his usual sleeping spots. If he changes spots he'd move them there until he got tired of that spot.

I've still got one of my most beloved stuffed toys, its a scratchy furred oblong shaped cat that use to sit on my Grandmas bed, whenever i was sick id curl up in her bed and cuddled to shit. the eye fell off and i repaired when i was a kid.

When she died she bequeathed that cat to me, it's currently got a spot above my bed and i love it to bits. I also bought myself two neopet faerie soft toys recently i love them dearly.

I went to my local aquarium today, and the exit was through the gift shop. I was baited into the trap of purchasing something before leaving, when I spotted the stuffed penguins and river otters. The bigger ones were out of my budget right now, but the smaller ones were fine. Might get the penguin the next time that I go.

I got a Bowser plushie to celebrate my cat's birthday. His name is Bowser lol.

My parents went into "DFE, but with stuff" out of the clear blue sky. Barely managed to save my tiny collection from the trash, and then only because one parent went behind the other's back to warn me.

I haven't held a stuffed animal and cried in about 20 years. Then I found out the music box on the rabbit that my late grandmother gave me still works. I'd give anything (else) I owned for a son or daughter to pass it on to. Maybe with a little recon I can find a neighbor with a very young child drop it at their doorstep, and pass along some of the love it was originally given with.

I have far more then any self respecting, mid 30s, male should. Mainly sea creatures and a gremlin pillow, and some others and this guy (not my picture).

I also have a very old snoopy who used to belong to my dad and rabbit and old bear who were my mums. I had a couple of my dad's old t-shirts as like blanket things, but they have been loved away into strings now.

My first plushie was Godzilla which might explain a few things. I can't find an image of the exact one but I remember it looking a lot like this. It disappeared during a move.

Then when I was 7 I got a Donkey Kong beanbag that to this day sits on the back dash of my car to throw banana peels at other drivers.

I also still have a Mocchi plushie from when my uncle came back from working on Japan. I remember wanting Suezo but the toy was terrifying so he let me have this one.

I also had a friend who worked at McDonalds so I have every single Neopets promotional from the time. My favorites are the 2 Grarrls at the end. They take up almost a whole shelf.

One of my guildmates mailed me a murloc since I was caught drinking & couldn't go to Blizzcon. I returned the favor a few years later by getting him a black whelpling & keeping a red one to commemorate.

Then there's Croconana who shares back dash space with DK.

And the crown jewel of my collection...

I have more but these are the plushies I didn't obtain by just going "oh cool" and putting them on a shelf to never be looked at again.

I remember liking how it was half-beanbag, half-plushie. A lot of plushies I got later as a kid were disappointing because they weren't as heavy as DK. To this day I'm not sure why nobody's replicated the idea since it makes for a nice durable kid's toy. Even the cotton feels like one of those old wartime blankets you can't rip with your bare hands.
