Shit, I'll give you some. Doxx yourself.Okay, in getting into succulents more and uh ...how do y'all contain them the urge to just take a leaf to propagate?
Every time I look at plants now it's all I can think of...
Do this with kanna plants. Then you'll have a farm of them, can make a tea out of them that gives you a bit of a euphoric rush.Okay, in getting into succulents more and uh ...how do y'all contain them the urge to just take a leaf to propagate?

I sometimes do regret not being able to share things online2004 was a simpler time.
Some time ago, posters here mentioned trying to put some pothos in with other cuttings to encourage growth. Wellll, I did so with tradescantia, but I didn’t take a “before” picture, because I lack foresight. Both cuttings were about the same size to begin with. The tradescantia took off,
Can you post a close up of the pothos? Like of the base?but curiously, the pothos hasn’t done anything? It’s rooted and alive, but not vining at all?

Oh! This should be ok. Give it some more time. It's probably concentrating on growing roots right now. I had one that did the same thing. It seemed like it wasn't vining at all for a while, but then when it started up again it was right back to its previous pace.I can try! Busy day today, I just snapped a few pictures on the fly, but I could try to actually shake the dirt off the bottom tomorrow.

First pic is oriented like in the previous post. Second pic is with the planter rotated.
Why don't you put three little soil containers, and in the first one water like you normally do (like God cleansing the Earth with the great flood), then in the second one measure how much you put in the first and just add half of that volume to the second cup, and then in the third cup only add 1/4 of the water you put in the first. This should guarantee something makes it out alive. Also make sure you got some little rocks in the bottom and drain holes in case youI have a bunch of sprouts in a sealed container to grow them on a paper towel. They're all sprouting their adult leaves now, and I need to put them in soil...
but how do I stop worrying? Like I'm a chronic over-waterer, and all of my seeds have died so far......
Except these guys.

Remember my plastic-takeout-container thing from earlier itt? That. Try that, at least with some of the sprouts. Why don't you put three little soil containers, and in the first one water like you normally do (like God cleansing the Earth with the great flood), then in the second one measure how much you put in the first and just add half of that volume to the second cup, and then in the third cup only add 1/4 of the water you put in the first. Most things are pretty good with letting the soil dry out to 90% (shy of bone dry) and watering again.
It looks very, nice keep it up!Orchidbudflower watch:

Do I need to worry about getting it any bugs to eat?
It's too small right now to really get anything sticking to it, but I worry...
How deep innawoods did you go?I wanted to bring the fungus from the woods, and transplant that right into my garden, and they were saying I SHOULDN'T till my soil. Which was great because it's a lot of work.
I spent the next few years bringing ridiculous amounts of leaves and later some grass clippings into my garden.
Time to drop this book again for anyone who might have not seen it yet:TL;DR. In my quest for bringing forest fungus into my garden, I think I may have accidentally started to rebuild my entire soil food web naturally by accident. This led to increased garden productivity.
I went about 200 feet back into the woods, the homeowner had a clearing, but was surrounded by 60-80 ft tall deciduous trees, so they had been blowing the leaves into the forest border every fall to clean up their lawn area for years. I would say it was a fairly old forest as all the trees were huge. They were more than happy for me to go in and rake up the borders. It was spring, and the leaves were already breaking down from the previous fall. It wasn't all leaves it was sticks too, and a lot of the sticks had broken down and were full of fungus which I took along with the leaves, even some nice dirt went into the bags. Everything went into thick contractor sized garbage bags. The first time I probably brought back maybe ten bags. I know from the 4 years it was over 100 bags, 50 of those were the size that would line a standard barrel. and then the rest were half that size. I made multiple trips, sometimes with a small 15ft trailer, and other times with just big boxes, recycling bins, or garbage bins. The boxes and bins were the best when working by yourself, because you don't need to hold them open during filling, and usually have a lid to prevent leaves from escaping during transit. I didn't want to see any exposed soil in the garden. I would try to keep everything covered with 3 inches of leaves. Over time it felt like the leaves would break down faster, and before I knew it I had to go back for a few more bags to patch areas of bare soil. You can really cram a lot of leaves in a 700 sqft garden. How deep innawoods did you go?
About how much stuff did you bring back each time?
Did you just yeet it on top of what was there already and leave it?
