You is a new program on Netflix about a premise and character tailor-made for Glenn Howerton that frustratingly does not feature him in any capacity. It’s also a less hardcore version of Dexter, and a much less hardcore version of Ted Bundy. I’m avoiding revealing too much about the actual plot because even the trailer ruins some fun surprises. It’s full of high-class millenial college hipster garbage but also fucking and killing. Check it out, then come back here and tell me it should not star Glenn Howerton. I fucking dare you to try to tell me that. Also discuss the show or whatever.

Got what I need~
But you say I'm just a w.e.e.n~
You just say that I'm a w.e.e.n~

So it's like his Always Sunny character, but less subtle and not as funny.
My criteria for a show worth watching is it’s either so funny it makes me laugh my ass off, or it genuinelly creeps me out at least a little. You is making my skin crawl enough to keep me watching. I recommend at least checking You out.

Does it get better after the first episode? I watched it and it didnt work for me at all. Didn't like any of the 2 main characters and felt some stuff was REALLY forced. Like how she lives on the ground floor with gargantuan always open windows, even when she masturbates or how the guy works in the bookstore fulltime but can also stalk her all day during a whole week just because it's plot convenient .

Anyway, considering my grievances, should i give it another short or just drop it and watch something else?

I think if the first episode didn’t reel you in you probably won’t like the rest. It takes the second episode for things to really get going but if nothing about the show is working for you I’d say pass.

Anyhow, we’re seven episodes in and so far the biggest takeaway from the story is everyone in the big city is a gaslighting creep and SJWs are batshit insane.

Im super interested in the books but is the show any good? the books sound better because apparently in the show a character thats satirized for being a feminist blogger is instead played completely straight because hollywood is out of touch but other than that is it a neat show? Did it end properly or did it get canned?

it's trash tv, but watchable..."good" eh. I know it's a bad/shit show but I enjoy it enough to watch.
