WWE Champions General - Despite his claims, DSP is still spending thousands of dollars on the WWE Champions mobile game
At 2000 days thats about 50-100 dollars a day. 36K a year. Somewhat less than half the wage earning US population makes less than this. He literally could have hired a real full time live in maid or executive assistant to wait on him hand and foot and attend to his every need at any hour
Major Retcon Alert: Today, after years Phil has finally admitted to playing mobile games again. And btw he never denied playing them.
Just feels like I'm diggin up a corpse here but it's relevant again.
So once again we are here with Phil fleeing behind some barrier on the guise of protecting his livelyhood from fuckin' trolls messin with him again. This time it's for his mobile game account. What could they possibly do? Beat you at the pvp?
Oh yeah that's right, it's just a cover up for Scopely's fat ass he's been feeding them with all the donation money.
I do love how the goal posts shift to this now. Like we haven't already uncovered your name along with the name change followed with it.
Also WHY WOULD I NAME MYSELF ON A MOBILE GAME crap he did. I know I know he got the name change to cover up Champs but I don't really think people will fall for it.

Great work man! He used his twitter handle to play pokemon go... which he just said he would never do. We got him! Not really but you know what i mean.
I think all objective evidence has been covered in this thread (leaks, IDs, accounts' info, etc), so it's not that necessary to dissect his excuses.
Still, I'll post my opinion and observations, but I'm not going to focus on his non sequitur about trolls somehow compromising his sensitive data if he were to show his phone screen, since it has been already covered and you can tell how stupid of an excuse it is. The video archive should be at least linked, credits to Vic Viper T301: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/darks...il-burnell-main-thread-2.105216/post-12617806
I've told you I play mobile games, you fucking idiots! I outright said it, over and over, I've said I play them alright? But I don't do what you say I do, and I'm not who you say I am in those games, it's ludi- it's so dumb, I've literally admitted this, I said it in videos. I said yes, I play mobile games but I'm not telling you which ones, I'm not giving you my account name, I'm not stupid! So I won't- right now I will not turn on my phone and show you here it is, here's all the... I'm not dumb! You know what I mean? But again, this is what I mean, this is what they say and do, they say "oh you see, Phil's phone lit up in a video with Jasper and it showed a mobile game"... and? (laughs) And what? What is your fucking point? It proves nothing, you fucking idiots, I'm so tired of it. That's what I- Oh, we finally got him red hande- red handed what? Doing what I told you I do?
Amongst the many instances of him denying that he plays WWE Champions, this is one where he claims to be transparent about his mobile gaming to his audience. As the footage in the Jasper video reveals, WWE Champions is for some reason an exception to the rule:
Ask the King Ep. 83: Oct. 8, 2020 pt2 (Timestamp at 34:48 ):
I don't regret talking about the mobile games I actually fucking played, at length. Like I will admit, I used to play WWE Supercard a ton, when it first came out I played the shit out of it that first year, and put money into it like an idiot, and I shouldn't have. Uhhhm, Dokkan Battle, uhhhm, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, those are games I put time and effort and some money into it, yes, until I hit to the point where I couldn't do it anymore cause I had no money, you know? I hit the wall, I had so so much debt and shit, I was like I can't spend money on mobile games anymore, I cut the cord and that was years ago. Uhhhm... so, yeah like, the thing is, regret admitting to playing, you guys know what I play, you see everything that I play, I don't play any games outside of the streams except for those few mobile games that I played, I don't play any games outside of the streams anymore, you know? Like you see every single game that I'm playing so you, uh- how would I regret to admit it when I'm playing it publicly? You know what I mean, it's for the streams or whatever, it's for the business.
He goes further and insults people mentioning Champions in chat:
Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon playthrough pt88 / January 2021 (Timestampt at 32:02):
Oh, here we go. WWE Champions, here we go, a fucking idiot, the meme you morons can't let go, you can go fuck off, stupid idiot.
Other clips show him contradicting himself, but these were already addressed within the thread:
Claims he stopped wasting time on mobile games because they're time/money sinks - Prestream (January 2020) / (Timestamp at 59:36):
"(...) He said WWE Supercard. I'm actually... you know, I'm glad you bring that up 'cause people always say from time to time. 'Oh you used to play mobile games', I mean, you're right? You're absolutely right and I completely gave up all that shit because MY GOD, my god what a fucking time sink, and very frankly, what a money sink it was... to play those mobile games. Keep in mind, that was before you know, the last few years where things have been so bad financially for me, uhm, that was back when I still had some disposable income... but dude, I used to play so many mobile games and every single one of them I got tired of... because they just got so bad to the point where it was like the only way, the ONLY WAY that you could do anything in any of these games was to spend money constantly. Like it was just drop money, drop money, drop money, drop money, drop money... or grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind... uhm... it was just a waste of time you know? It really was and at first you get-you get caught in that, 'Oh! It's free to play.' so you think that it's like fun bec- 'Oh! It's free-to-play.' right? The next you realize yeah, it's free to play but you can't ever do anything in the game unless you spend money... you get-you get stuck being a free to player who doesn't have any of the good characters, or the good abilities, or the good combos, or the good... you know, all the things that you want for whatever game you're playing and I had an RPG game that was Marvel characters, uhm... from like all the Marvel movies, and then I had a game that was Dragon Ball, where you did like combat with Dragon Ball characters, and then I had a game that was Final Fantasy, you built your own Final Fantasy and of course WWE Supercard, back in the day where it was, you know, collecting wrestlers and having them fight off and stuff, you know. But once you realize how insane those games are with the microtransactions you're like 'Oh fuck this! What am I doing? You know? Why am I wasting my time on this?', there's no way I could ever do anything, you know, without spending so much money and, you know why am I wasting my time on and that's the truth of matter is I just got tired of it. I was like 'I can't get anywhere playing these games... the way that they've built them, they're ludicrous.' so I'm not gonna waste my time on it anymore, and I didn't. I stopped wasting my time on that crap so... (...)"
Admits quitting mobile games when his now wife moved in - Podcast (January 2020) / (Timestamp at 40:12):
"(...) And by the way, I quit all of that stuff when Kat moved in, in 2018, I quit all mobile games, I don't play them anymore. I got rid of them, I said I'd rather focus time on important stuff with my family and stuff, I don't waste time... They're all- I keep telling you guys this, mobile games are money sinks. They're- you put money into it, you put time into it, and money into it and you don't get anything really out of it unless you're constantly keep playing and sinking more money into it, that's the truth of the matter. (...)"
Admits to be playing mobile games and spending a dollar "here or there" - Q&A (March 2022) / (Timestamp at 15:32):
"(...) I actually do play some mobile games, I do, alright? The ones that I play are free to play, or incredibly inexpensive, like you spend a dollar here or there to make progress, ok? I do not play the mobile game bullshit that these idiots talk about on the Internet, it's not true. (...)"
So DSP's nugget of truth for today is that he plays mobile games, however he denied that he played Champions after this thread started, and along the way he made several inconsistencies.
It's attacking a straw-man, the problem is not that it showed a mobile game, but that it showed Champions.
Second thing, in this video he mentions that in order to disprove the accusation he would need to "waste time downloading the game", but Jasper's Daily Wrap video shows that he wouldn't need to do so as it already was in his phone:
Street Fighter Throwback Stream: May 29, 2020 pt2 (Timestamp at 35:33):
But, for me to pick up my phone, right now, and waste time downloading the game showing you "Oh, here's my loging and everything-" (...)
So? His best excuse is that he downloaded the game conveniently after saying this, going against every single speech he had about these games being time/money sinks.
Then you have SkippyLongbottom's observation up there that again, makes DSP look like an inebriated liar.
So if what DSP says is true and that showing his Champions account could lead to the discovery of information that could ruin his life, then it begs the question "What the fuck is he hiding that could lead to that?"
He needs to think a little harder about his speech flowcharts.

A couple of things, first personally, you say as a "former whale"; what did it take for you to ditch your whale impulses, you don't have to get specific so your old account gets doxed, just in general I wonder what that journey was like for you from peaking in whaling in whatever it was to deciding to ditch and how that progressed?
As to your suggestion of a thread on the community for that game, you can try if you feel up to it to craft a prospering grounds thread or have one worked up with some help if someone is interested in offering it and if it's entertaining it will be spun out to community watch when it's active and in shape enough to sustain itself, if you'd like.
I don't play the games I whaled on anymore for various reasons, so I don't give a rat's ass (Some of them are probably gone now). I'll try to be tl;dr as much as I can.
The mentality I had for spending was that I'm supporting the game, but a couple of games broke me for different reasons. When these games popped up in 2012, some felt like a virtual card game before HS was a thing or even a RPG board game like Blood Brothers. When I spent cash, my mentality at the time was I'm supporting the developers until I got sick of getting fucked over from bad rates (hackers found out how to get items and cards you could trade for back in the day when these games had trading systems. It was a way to spite developers and low pulls when they really preyed on people, so people went to them for stuff me included. Unless you tried to fuck with these guys, they never screwed anyone over). The final nail in the coffin for me was when I spent a lot of cash on a glass cannon card deck that got nullified within 2-3 weeks of its lifespan with some armor skill that lets the other opponent kill you. I had to buy accessories to make the deck work, and those accesories became useless. That made me stop whaling, but I would buy cosmetics like King's Raid skins (KR skins only gave you gold and xp boosts that really did nothing for you. You still had to learn how to play the game). Skins that don't give you any advantages are the only things that could get me to spend on gachas but:
They had better look fucking good
The price had better be reasonable because I ain't spending over $15 usd on a skin
Three: the skin had better not be a fucking mandatory thing if I want to beat pve content or even try pvp. This pissed me off when I played Valkyrie Connect as a whale and f2p.
Raid Shadow Legends charges $50 for a skin. Let that sink in. One thing I learned from going f2p is that you learn how to handle the content with your resources even though developers will continuously try to piss all over you (One developer called DeNa hated free to play people). When you cleared an event or missions without spending money, you felt like a badass. I probably sound like I'm contradicting myself, but the last thing I bought was some King's Raid skin 4 years ago when I went back to that game very briefly (I took a break from the game, but when I came back the game felt bloated. I dropped it after 3 or so days). Eh, as for a Dislyte thread, I have to think about it, but there are other non-gacha threads I had in mind. I have to dig up some of the stuff I came across like a Dislyte youtuber virtue signaling to accuse other youtubers of stealing his shit. I think a gacha general thread might be more appropriate because 99% of gacha communities are cancer.

Wait so if DSP grinds mobile games, but doesn't spend money on them, does this mean he spends a lot of time gaming while he isn't streaming? I thought he said he has no time to do anything once his streams are done?

Well you could believe Phil's just lying or instead believe the more logical possibility that phil is some avant garde unprecedented genius who has managed to subvert the entire business model the mobile game industry relies on and somehow manages to play the same mobile games intensively for years on end by his own admission while also somehow not spend much time or money.
This gacha shit is even more degenerate than gambling. Reminds me of the Sopranos episode called "Bust Out" where the degenerate gambler gambles away his entire business. Thats you Phil, and Scopely is busting you out.
You'd even have some money spare to get that giant Hogan sticker. Oh, and just FYI that site was created by a Youtuber who became successful recording videos by himself using a camera phone. That's gotta sting.
One thing that might be getting slightly glossed over:
Phil goes on a rant because people have him dead-to-rights over the WWEChampions screenshot and admits that he is currently playing multiple mobile games.
How many mobile games are you currently playing Phil?
He on average plays about 70 WWEChampions matches everyday. That coupled with doing gacha pulls and roster management I would guess he's spending at least 3 hours everyday just playing WWEChampions. How much time is he spending on other games?

Well find out one day he was one of the people suckered into Raid: Shadow Legends. He'd have time for an idle clicker surely?
But regardless I'd say a game he would play like likely P2W, social to the point of showing off your collection of characters to others minimally, predominantly male characters, likely not anime since he hates it and probably something he's been playing for a number of years.
