I believe it's from a public server that was either nuked or abandoned by Rafters, and so the people he's talking with here are not necessarily from his then faction. Back when getting to other servers was easy before everyone getting paranoid.

I think by then he had his PMs closed to randos (I know he did later on have a private conversation with some player before they got doxed) however it was around the time some that I believe are from LSB's Discord and possibly Kiwifarms (citation needed, just a hunch) could talk to him pretending to be another player.
Never interacted with him, this is from some really old compiled info I had saved.

His mindset when it comes to the game... as long as he thinks that he's in control of the spendings then he sees no trouble, he's not a gambler in his mind, he just has a hobby.

It's almost a black and white conclusion (leaving aside Discord or Anonymouse getting hacked), either that's DSP or @Anony is lying, but I have no reason to believe that he is.
And this is without the other overwhelming amount of evidence on the side.

If you really want to reach and say that TheyCallMeDSP the gambler didn't have that exact name somehow, and that's how he was able to replicate DSP's moniker, that's also covered.
Did anyone pay attention to the L's in his name? You know sometimes you can trick people with capital letter i's, however that's not a problem since not only people should have noticed when they sent him friend requests (at the beginning of the thread), but there's also HTML extracts of some of the servers that confirm the exact letters Rafters used.

Yeah, he always used that exact image of Andre the Giant in the mod discord before it was nuked around the time that DrsGangsta defected. At that point he made a new account, and then used a couple leaks to justify the change to the mods.

I was wise enough to preserve the unique account ID from the server right before Phil nuked it though, sent it to someone in a Discord DM for safekeeping, and that matches exactly. That eliminates the possibility of him claiming someone used the same jpeg for their pfp.

It's interesting observing what Phil is like when he's as close to honest with people as it's physically possible for him to be. And I know he's lying, because even Phil recognizes that logging into the same game where the object is to constantly spend money every single day without fail for years is NOT just something one enjoys doing. It's a habit, an addiction. People who still play Skyrim today after ten years don't have the kinds of hours invested in it that Phil has in Champions, not to mention the vast difference in money spent.

People don't dump tens of thousands of dollars into a video game without balking at the prospect of continuing unless they're hooked and need professional help. Leave it to Phil to gloss over that flaw in his argument even as he's letting his hair down about as much as he's capable of.

My favorite thing to watch in this vortex is Phil attempting to paint an image of himself with his right hand while prominently displaying with his left that the right is telling lies. It happens every time, because he's that damn incompetent, and that damn insistent on trudging forward despite knowing that he already squealed on himself.

For example, claiming to be a hobbyist who sees the grift at play, while being somebody with an account that has no days missed and almost every wrestler maxed out at any given time. Those two things go together about as well as his assertions of tips being voluntary while bitching about the lack of them. It's largely due to how these companies try to hide how much you are actually spending from you through obfuscation. Hiding drop rates, the multiple currencies and even that you will always buy an amount of a premium currency that leaves you with some left over. It all adds to not noticing how much gets spent when a big event comes around, which for gacha games needs to be all the time to get money from people.

There was a story of someone who, when he got the information from EA directly, was shocked to see how much he'd spent on fifa: 10 grand over 2 years. And he never realised it until he got that information. He admitted that he was lucky it didn't have an effect on his finances and that he caught it before it got out of hand.

That's not even the worst part. If his parents and his wife decided to get together and stage an intervention, we all know exactly what Phil would do: keep wasting all his money on wrestling jpegs. Yesterday's pre-stream, wherein he was willing to actually admit how stubborn he is, showed me just how right I was when I said that the thing he hates most is consequences. He was able to do that uncharacteristic thing because though he loves lying, he also loves over-sharing, and the real reason he doesn't do it even more, with honesty, is the consequences.

Well there have been no consequences (that he would notice or care about anyway) for stubbornly sticking to an autistic schedule that has him NOT jumping right into gameplay, so he felt comfortable stating the obvious reality of him being the type who just doesn't fucking listen. He wasn't apologetic, mind you, but he wasn't really excusing himself either. He just said it, without any real attitude to it. I've realized that that's what it looks like when you give Phil the lack of consequences that he wants: you actually get the truth out of him for once about what he is. No ifs, ands, or buts. Just the facts.

That's why he has kept playing Champions despite sweet deranged Nigel ruining it for him, and been so pissy about being taunted over it in the chat: give him consequences for his decisions, and his mind instantly locks into "Fuck you" mode and you get nothing but lies and attitude out of him. The only way to unlock it is by taking the consequences away.

There is no doubt in my mind that Linda gave him everything he wanted from birth until the day he moved out at the age of 27 years-old, and I don't just mean toys either. She combed his hair and did his laundry for him because he wanted that too. That's why he shaved his head after high school, he changed his mind about her doing that and went right for the laziest hairstyle possible. It was a change, but it enabled him to keep declining to perform a task he didn't want to do.

Phil is incapable of regretting anything because his brain doesn't connect his actions to their consequences. He's the creature who burns his hand on a hot stove and doesn't learn to not play with stoves. He just gets mad about being burned.

Irrelevant to DSP but I've noticed something weird with Champions. Maybe it's not odd for people that know how these games are programmed and doesn't mean anything worth of posting but whatever.

So for some reason my game is glitched (surprise surprise, a Scopely product and they don't know how to fix it. Fine by me though), where if I damage enough the opponent and get to the pin like normal (just before they get in that position), if I were to win, the game will exit the match and count me as the winner.

Normally, the opponent has 3 turns while being pinned in order to match gems and do enough damage to get out, if they don't do enough, it counts to 3 during each turn, they lose and it plays an animation with lootboxes and experience gained. With me they don't even get to that point, if I do enough damage for them to not overcome it, then it automatically exits.

So it's just weird to me that the game seems to know turns before when all possibilities are exhausted. It doesn't necessarily mean that it cheats, but it's a "unique" way of programming that anticipates when a dead end is reached. Sometimes it also happens when I'm the one that were to lose (I'm the one who'd get pinned, but exits before), so it must be calculating all possibilities I could take for some reason.

Or that it's not tied to some powered up feature of the specific sweatywrestler.jpg being used in the match? There's a possibliity of the match being some subgame where the finish state is like a wrestling match stipulation known as a death match, where the first sweatywrestler.employee who can't stand up at the count of 10 is declared the loser, maybe it's just that games version of that match stipulation?

I'm sure, the game is not behaving as it should for me.
Submission moves and stipulation matches are things in Champions, but it's not related to this. After it abruptly exits me it even gives me an error prompt for being idle for 10-15 minutes, but that's incorrect since sometimes I can end it in less than 10 seconds and it also declares me as the winner by giving me the set reward and the 3 star score.
(I'm not an expert on this game, but all of this are the basics)

If I [(KO/deplete their entire health) or (do enough damage for the opponent to not overcome that in 3 turns during pin)] and I were to pin them, before the animation plays and the AI gets to struggle for 3 turns like normal, it exits me.
This always happens, and sometimes if the tables turn and I'm the one that were to lose, before I get the opportunity to match anything on the board to escape.
This suggests the game calculates all possibilities that end up detecting dead ends in advance, and when it does, I'm out of the match.

Which is odd to me that it would be programmed like that, it's not like the intuitive "if this happens>do this>else this" because it clearly skips steps in this scenario, so there's something there.
Again, I don't know how these games are programmed, maybe there's a legit reason but I thought of posting it.

It's also great that Scopely doesn't have a clue about what causes it or how to begin to fix it, the game is such a glitch is not even funny.
The most work they put in is in making the wrestlers' poster art as appealing as possible, everything else, including the 3D models and animations is a joke.

He's right about that at least, game boycotts practically never work, since it's extremely rare for enough people who matter to give a shit, so more often than not the people boycotting are just made to look like idiots.

This is especially true in regards to games that heavily push you towards monetization; you could have half of the playerbase protesting, but because it's not whales, your voice is essentially nonexistent. In that situation you'd need either a noticeable portion of the whales to stop paying, or the massive majority of F2P to leave completely in order to upset the whale ecosystem - a lot of them whale just to curbstomp weaker F2P players, so once those start running out and the other competitive whales remain, they get frustrated and start leaving.

It probably doesn't need to be mentioned how ridiculously unlikely that is, or how ridiculous of a fuck-up a company has to make for even a chance of that to happen. Hell, 37GAMES literally held peoples' accounts hostage at a ransom when a glitch in one of their games allowed some reward to be picked up multiple times, at which point they locked F2P/low-paying players' accounts and threatened to permaban them if they don't top-up the equivalent of those rewards in money, while simply rolling it back for whales and giving them a slap on the wrist, yet that shit wasn't even a drop in the ocean for them.

If only Phil was even remotely self-aware, maybe he'd see why he's the living evidence for what he said.

Ever since the account was leaked on here and Nigel started his rampage Phil has denied ever playing Champions. This is in contrast with his claims from 2019 and before that he played it once or twice but did not care for it.

If you go back further to the mid 2010s he admitted to playing other gacha including DBZ Dokkan Battle (we suspect he took an impromptu day off to play a tourney in that) and WWE Supercard (which he quit in ~2017). He has copped to playing them and indirectly admitted to whaling (he called them "exploitative", you can figure out what that means) since then but the accounts' age and his dropping the games limits our ability to see how bad things were. WWE Immortals is another possibility but we cannot prove that for certain since the servers for that game were shut down about 3 years ago.

I can't prove it but I suspect Champions brought out his inner giga whale because it's even more exploitative/p2w than most other gacha games. In Supercard he was a whale but plenty of other players were on his level and outright called him an idiot because he would often tell them about "new" strategies he'd come up with that had already been common knowledge for ages. I don't see any of that in his champions guild, people either like him or at least hold their tongues because of all the spending he does.

No it was not. The strongest faction he belonged to was called "Uselessness" and once he got booted from there he had to drop to much lower-tier guilds because the elite ones talked and all knew letting Phil in would end with Nigel paying a visit. Other than Uselessness the guilds I am aware of are Sons of Smackdown, BClub1, and This Is a A Test.
