Read another comment earlier that he is throwing another begathon in a few days and wonder what the goal for "bills" will be? The level of spending just blows my mind lol. I understand the addiction nature of these games but cannot understand being so willing to throw away this much money into a game with no end or prizes. Expect the New Vegas monies to be retconned after a few days and insisting he still needs halp with his bills.

Remember a couple of days ago when he ranted about trolls and talked about us saying he has an addiction? Claiming WE are the crazy ones? Well he also threw out the often talked about idea of him continuing this shit because it's the only way to win, in his mind. Except he projected it onto us, asserting that the reason we keep going is because we feel like we would lose if we stopped.

Setting aside how much this displays that Phil reads the Farms more than he interacts with his wife, and can actually retain information when he actually WANTS to, it's interesting that he claims that, when, in that very same rant, he asserts us to matter not at all. Someone claimed he gets tips because of trolls/detractors, and he naturally got pissy about that suggestion, but he doesn't seem to realize that it doesn't add up when you assert your detractors to be insignificant AND that they would qualify as "losing" if they left you alone and stopped talking shit about you.

Which is it, Phil? You can't have both, and funnily enough, your insistence on doing so, constantly, is what gives us things to talk about here. Lack of awareness is indeed the hallmark of a lolcow, because holy shit do you have to be dim to not recognize the kinds of e-celebs who DON'T get shit on regularly here. I'm no brilliant person myself, but it's still very obvious to me that there's a reason why, for example, when I got curious enough to research discussion of Skyrim modders at the Farms, Trainwiz isn't on anyone's shit list, but Arthmoor very much is. Over the many years I've hung out on the internet, I've encountered maybe a handful of examples of someone having a hate following who didn't make any sense to. I don't always agree with the hate following, but I at least GET it.

The lolcows never do, the most they manage is knowing of the others and trying vainly to not be the biggest one, but only ever by doing the same thing they always do: deny reality. Which is what Phil does when he projects "keep playing in order to avoid losing" onto us. There have obviously been lunatics in the detractor community, but not even the SoK or Fred Fuchs have sunk tens of thousands of dollars into collecting wrestling jpegs. Nor has the Farms been taken from us numerous times, without any options beyond moving on to a different site, and even if it was, it would have nothing to do with our discussions being insane.

And of course, this is to say nothing of the fact that this thread alone is 385 pages of discussion that happened entirely because Phil keeps playing Champions despite it being ruined, and having ruined him financially and psychologically. He loves to act like the ball is always in someone elses court, doesn't he? Almost as if that's to skirt responsibility...

Dave is always unusually upset about trolls or others he doesn't like...even when lightly criticized. He goes out of his way to act really nasty with people, but he feels sorry for this guy? nahuhuh F Me...This is not ordinary for Dave. The troll tips bit was great when I caught a clip. He will calm victory for everything...I bet on his death bed he'll say he was the healthiest person with a "sedentary" lifestyle. When in doubt, always deny Dave.

Well, that's the thing: when you quit something like this, after so much money already wasted, there's only so much of a win you can have. Same goes for anything you do a 180 on, whether it be getting in shape, getting ones social life in order, getting out of an abusive relationship, the list goes on, when you've spent a long time with one thing, that wasn't a good idea, or you at least have regrets about, there are certain things you just have to accept and move on from.

Phil has already wasted a shit ton of money on this, and many other things, and he would have to live with that if he quit being so stupid, but that is no reason to keep going. He could stop, today, and he would be better off than if he played until literally his last breath. No matter how much pain it caused, it would be less than what his addiction would do to him if he kept going forever.

But that's the truth of things, and Phil doesn't operate off of reality, because he still claims that we're wrong and just making shit up. At this point, that's as insane as his denial of being bald or out of shape or making six figures. He's everything we say he is, and that's why he projects everything we say.

Another reason is if you have reached the maximum rewards for the event. A lot of players will drop their defense as a courtesy to other players who are still trying to score.

This is why I'll never be mad about Phil getting paid stupid money by his whales. Also, it's worth noting that The Incident is something he doesn't lie about, but he was going to until he noticed that Keemstar had tweeted about it and ensured that the internet was about to get plastered with stills of Phil jerking off. He knows exactly what is true about himself and what isn't, provided that it's big enough and/or he has daily reminders. Champions is both of those things. DSP is somehow spending more money on these games than people like FlightReacts and Bateson, who are notorious whales. The difference is that it is at least their jobs to play these games for Twitch and YouTube content. DSP is outspending them on a game that he doesn't even play on stream.
