Wuhan Coronavirus / COVID-19 Thread 2: Booster Shot - Resume all Corona sperging here.

There's far more people wearing masks than before, like some poll earlier this year said 50-55% of Japs treat it very seriously (and only 1-2% say they don't wear it at all). There's still mask mandates for large venues, which hasn't been a thing in the US for a year, even in commie shitholes like Portland.

If masks are already culturally accepted, it's far easier to get everyone to mask up.

And they don't have any remorse about masks dropped everywhere like cigarette butts and taking 450 years to decompose.

Btw, here another good article about corona-chan resistance.

The COVID panic and those who resisted

By John Dale Dunn, M.D.

Gabrielle Bauer, a prominent journalist in Canada, decided some time ago to write a book about the reactions of people of all stripes and backgrounds to the trials and tribulations of the COVID epidemic, and she has produced an energetic and ambitious book that takes a look at COVID from the eyes of 46 different people from various countries who have widely different backgrounds and areas of expertise. These subjects are uniformly opposed to the management of COVID by international authorities and their attitudes and criticisms are vetted and explained.

The book is Blindsight 2020:Reflections on Covid Policies from Dissident Scientists, Philosophers Artists, and More (2023, Brownstone Institute, Austin, Texas, Paperback $17) and when I was asked to review the book I immediately said yes because I have a great respect for Jeffrey Tucker, the founder of Brownstone and regular economics columnist at Epoch Times and I know his attitude about COVID mitigation policies promulgated internationally. I know of his opposition to the harsh and harmful mitigation promoted by the U.S. National Institutes of Health and Communicable Disease Centers and their officials and mouthpieces Drs. Wellensky, Collins, Fauci and Birx, but also the lockstep mitigation recommendations of the United Nations World Health Organization (WHO). Tucker founded Brownstone Institute because of his disgust with the COVID debacle.
Ms. Bauer’s book does not focus on early medical treatment of COVID or the advocates of early treatment; her book concentrates on the pushback opponents of the 2020 mitigation regime of lockdowns, school closings, masking and social isolation, social distancing, why and how they opposed the rules and the negative consequence of government officials pushing the measures, without regard to consequences and lack of benefit.

The ambitious book is written by an eloquent, lucid and accomplished writer, published by the Brownstone Institute, an entity founded in 2021 by Jeffrey Tucker, a conservative economist and writer in response to what he considered the insanity of the COVID response destruction of civil rights and freedoms of people around the world. He asserts that the consequences of the COVID response will “live in infamy.”
The author had an ambitious project, putting together 46 interviews of a wide variety of people, but she made it easy for the reviewer to give his readers an introduction. The interviews are divided into chapters of one or more persons and the themes of the interviews are summarized in a thematic summary section. The themes were dissected and explained by the subjects of the interviews; Ms. Bauer just put the commentary on paper for consideration, and she did it well, not getting in the way. She has a knack.

And they don't have any remorse about masks dropped everywhere like cigarette butts and taking 450 years to decompose.

Btw, here another good article about corona-chan resistance.

Do you find it a good article? I just find it depressing. Humanity was fooled once again by those in power and here's how it happened. I'm totally sure no one will be fooled next time. Wow, what an optimist. Some of the people who grew up in the former Communist states would like to have a word with you.

I should have been more specific. It's an article who might be worth to read. Well more worth than anything coming mainly from HuffPo, Slate, NY Times, etc....

And they don't have any remorse about masks dropped everywhere like cigarette butts and taking 450 years to decompose.
The fact that doctor's offices, hospitals, and LTCs still require you slap a piece of paper over your face when no one with two brain cells to rub together actually thinks it does anything remotely valuable is a painful reminder of the old adage of someone pissing on your leg and saying it's raining.

The medical waste from these fucking things is going to haunt us for generations and no one seems to care at all. Every so-called environmentalist that went along with the act should shut the fuck up forever.

It's weird how barely anyone there is wearing masks but otherwise Japan is still obsessed with it. Those vaccines are pretty brutal, and the continuing high rate of death is no doubt due to continuing to receive the boosters.

I think it's just East Asians in general, and the masking/jabbing obsession is very much alive here in Canada. I still see some older white folks wearing masks by themselves in the car, but the neighbourhoods with the highest concentration of maskers are those heavily populated by Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese people. Even in my small town, the East Asian owned convenience stores and the only Chinese restaurant are still in "It's-2020-The-Coof-Will-Kill-Us-All" mode, with full plexiglass barriers, social distancing signs, hand sanitizer everywhere, and fully masked employees behind the cash register. Hell, my own parents dutifully lined up to get 3 boosters, even though my dad's platelet levels would crash after each shot and he'd have to haul his ass to the emergency room for a transfusion. The sad part is, my dad would probably still be getting regular boosters if it weren't for one of his doctors telling him to stop.

There are certainly awesome things about being a person of Asian descent, but for better or for worse, blind obedience to authority is also part and parcel of the culture. They do call us "Bug People" for a reason after all...

what I see with vaxmaxxers correlates to your anecdote.
The vaxmaxxers at my work do seem to be getting sick more often. They also tend to be unhealthy in other ways too though.

I'm over here unvaxxed and not getting sick lol.

I shouldn't have said anything. In my hubris, I got the coof for the first time.

iirc the mask mandate got drop this month for larger venues, dunno about the rest.

So this is still happening.
Gives me "there by the grace of god, go I" vibes. If not for the good counsel of some wise individuals in my life during those early days of the pandemic, I might have made a similar choice, for the psy ops where I live was strong.
'Scuse the imminent powerleveling; I decided to take a stand against coercion, fear, and tyranny. I paid for it dearly at the time, being cast out like a social leper, one of the "unclean", part of a fringe minority with unacceptable views. I was turfed out of two jobs in pretty short order, jobs that I was quite skilled at and in the management track for, because I stuck to my ideals and values, and made to question them myself shorty thereafter when things started getting bleak.
Still, I decided to persist, and found a new line of work which suits me far better which doesn't care about anyone's vax status.

When things started to turn and go the other way, when vaxies started dying of "suddenly", I felt little in the way of vindication. There was no smugness on my part, only a sense of grief and pity for the masses that got duped. These people are not my enemy, rather it is all the health officials and politicians at the top who tried to shove this shit down our throats under pain of being socially outcast and threats of internment. Now many young people are paying the price, and for what? Human rights have been rolled back across the globe and the greatest transfer of wealth of all time has occurred, robbing many of us of the future we might have had.
But! That's okay, I guess. The world will course correct, it is already happening. Already I am seeing people becoming more wary and distrustful of their governments & big corporations/pharma, and and becoming more self reliant. In time, this will also result in an increased awareness for evil in this world and how to avoid it. Unfortunately, many out there did not get out in time.

Manitoba family suing AstraZeneca after son's stroke following COVID-19 vaccination

Family says they believe hemorrhagic stroke in 2021 was caused by the vaccine

A statement of claim filed in Manitoba's Court of King's Bench this month is seeking damages after a family alleges their son had a stroke days after getting the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine in 2021.
A Manitoba family is suing AstraZeneca Canada, alleging their son had a stroke following his COVID-19 vaccination that has left him unable to work or care for himself.
Jackson Troy Reimer, now 23, was "in excellent health" before getting vaccinated while working at the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort in British Columbia in 2021, according to a statement of claim filed in Manitoba's Court of King's Bench on March 16.
But six days after getting his shot, he started feeling dizzy, losing his vision and having severe headaches. A CT scan at Vancouver General Hospital found Reimer had a hemorrhagic stroke, the lawsuit says.
He later needed two platelet infusions, then underwent a craniotomy to stop bleeding in his brain and had to be intubated after becoming unresponsive — all outcomes Reimer and his parents, Marina Dawn Toews Reimer and Perry John Reimer, believe were caused by the vaccine.
"The plaintiffs claim that the stroke, the craniotomy and all symptoms arising from them were caused as a result of Jackson having been administered the AstraZeneca vaccine or Covishield," the court filing says.
No statements of defence have been filed. None of the allegations in the lawsuit have been proven in court.

Blood clot concerns

The family is also suing Vail Resorts, which runs the ski facility where Jackson Reimer worked.
The lawsuit alleges the company emailed employees on March 15, 2021, and recommended those living in staff housing get the AstraZeneca shot at their first opportunity.

The same day as that email, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the shot was safe and Canadians should have no concern about getting it, after roughly a dozen European countries suspended its use over concerns about blood clots.
Two weeks later, Canada's National Advisory Committee on Immunization recommended pausing use of the vaccine in people under age 55 because of safety concerns.
That change came following reports out of Europe of very rare instances of blood clots in some immunized patients, notably among younger women.
The lawsuit also names as defendants the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, the attorney general of Canada and the Ontario-based Verity Pharmaceuticals, a manufacturer authorization holder for the Covishield vaccine, which is the Indian-made version of the AstraZeneca shot.
Anne Génier, a spokesperson for Health Canada, said in a Wednesday email the agency has just been made aware of the claim and is reviewing it.
Vancouver Coastal Health Authority spokesperson Jeremy Deutsch said in an email the authority has no comment on the matter, as it is before the courts.

The suit alleges the defendants deprived Reimer of his right to informed consent and negligently misrepresented the vaccine by failing to inform him of all the possible risks associated with the shot and by continuing to provide it, in spite of some adverse reactions.
Canada confirmed its first case of a rare but potentially fatal blood clot in connection with the AstraZeneca vaccine on April 13, 2021.
The national vaccine committee said a month earlier the condition occurred at a rate of about one in 100,000 people vaccinated, with a mortality rate of about 40 per cent, but that more research was needed and risk was reduced if treated early enough.
The lawsuit also claims Health Canada's promotional slogan "the first vaccine is the best vaccine" was false.
"For Jackson, the AstraZeneca vaccine and/or Covishield was not the best vaccine. Other vaccines were both safer and more effective," it says.

Lasting effects of stroke

Since March 2021, Reimer has been unable to hold gainful employment, advance his university education or carry out many activities of daily living, the court filing says.
He's now legally blind and has other symptoms related to mental focus and concentration, memory loss, mental impairment and obsessive compulsive disorder tendencies, according to the claim.

Reimer also has physical symptoms including brain seizures, excessive weight gain, and impaired bowel function and control, the lawsuit says.
His symptoms, which are expected to continue indefinitely, are so severe that Reimer is unable to live alone and requires ongoing assistance with daily activities, the claim alleges. It also says his parents have been unable to work their regular hours due to their son's care demands.
The family is seeking damages for Reimer's injuries, loss of income and costs of care.

The decimation of Czech niggercattle continues with no end in sight; the 4th quarter has the most drastic decrease in births yet.

Thank you, vaxxoids, for voluntarily removing your inferior genetic information from the gene pool of our nation so that the progeny of me and my fellow purebloods has less competition. :smug: This truly is an evolutionary self-cucking the likes of which our species has never been subjected to before.

Without PLing too much, had a chat with a vaxxie (and enthusiastic maskfag) close to me. Total NPC. Utterly gone.

How it started:
- Jabbed and fully boosted.
- Still got Covid multiple times.
- Grateful - yes, they actually said this - because otherwise it could've been much worse. [Blew my mind - like talking to a Twatter screencap].

How it's going:
- Chickenpox (returned from childhood).
- Shingles (predictable, and probably the tell).
- Latest: weird allergic reactions to things that were never an issue before (this is a new one).

It's heartbreaking, chudbuds. This is someone I care about. I'm grieving. I'm also [redacted for what would be fed-poasty as fuck]. Didn't drop the full 'You have VAIDS, nigga!' but gently tried to point them in that direction. Doubt it'll do much good, but I at least broached the subject. That's my latest personal anecdata. Makes me want to start day-drinking.

Masks have become the norm in liberal workplaces. As much as I dislike working remotely, I no longer go to the office if congested or coughing as I’m expected (personally reprimanded by top brass) to wear a mask. I respect a business’s right to have me walk on all fours if I willingly choose to work there so I hold no ill will towards ‘em; I just think it’s all empty theatrics at this point. I have more important things to do.

- Shingles (predictable, and probably the tell)
Best part is, this was a known issue all the way back in 2021:

They minimised it, of course. It's extremely rare, they say; so rare that everyone is getting it.

Fuckit, further feels: these last three years have been the longest two weeks of my life. Been waiting for the other (catastrophic) shoe to drop for the last six months. Stressing me the fuck out - or, it does, if I don't numb myself. Been brought up in other threads recently, but it does seem like they're slowly flipping the (safe and effective) script, in order to maximally trigger the normies. Wondering if (assuming it'll happen at all) it'll be very gradual, then all of a sudden. This shit going to drag on, what? another five fucking years? I'll probably die of suddenly before anything resolves, the anticipation really is killing me. /something something TED talk, subscribe, newsletter, etc.

Edit:

Fuck. That one slipped by me - think I only caught on to the shingles thing sometime last year. Tempted to forward the article on to the person I mentioned, but might be interpreted as gloating. Think I'll keep that in reserve - want to try and persuade them to see a specialist/get some tests, and that might prove useful. Thank you, helpful kiwi.

After around three years, I think I finally caught the coof. I just drinked a lot of water and slept a lot for a couple days and it's almost gone now. This is the shittiest "supa dedly virus" ever! I didn't even lose my smell or taste. How many lives were ruined for this?

PAX East in Boston were still completely anal about having masks on at all times. Went there this past Friday in hopes of catching Yoshi-P at the afternoon panel for Final Fantasy XIV, but it didn't feel all that worth it attending the con with everyone still so adamant about wearing the fucking face talismans. Bah, fuck New England and the cowards in the video game world who still treat coof with undue paranoia THREE FUCKING YEARS in.

I saw that in every picture people were wearning them and I was wondering if I was seeing pictures from three years ago or something.

Was recently at a medical clinic (Leafland) that had a big ole sign saying masks mandated! so do it! but curiously, inside there were a bunch of people not wearing them and the various secretaries even a bunch of them just were wearing them loosely under their chin and you could see people in offices nearby not even pretending. It's such a joke. Just appealing to hypochondriacs and mentally ill.
