wplace is the first excuse I have had to go and learn how krita works since I first installed Linux.

I am NOT an artist. I don't draw shit even for fun. I've still gone out and done some stuff. It's all been trial and error and using reference pictures to make it look good for me. Keep it simple, and you can iterate pretty easily until your happy with it. You will never be 100% satisfied with it.

Wplace started to get me more interested into pixel art stuff lol.

Because many people on KF are of the opinion it's all temporary anyway. Which creates a sense of reasonable detachment from online pixel politics.
That and, many farmers are employed, or have family. And just place the funny pixels w hen they have a moment to themselves.

Its impossible to get a metric on what "the Average Kiwifarmer is", but considering this website was able to raise a quarter million dollars for a legal fund in 72 hours, it is possible to infer the average Kiwi has a job/career and the social maturity such things require.
