I can't eat our oldest friend without stipulations. If I were starving, and a recently dead dog presented itself, I would eat it, but it would be one of those really sad moments when I lose a bit of humanity. Even if it was a wild dog or wolf or coyote. However, I know my dogs would have no second thought about consuming me in a famine. Anytime I have Chinese takeout, I just assume it's dog. I do the same thing with fast food restaurants, I assume they have spat in my food and eat it anyway. One less thing I have to worry about.
