Not being able to have a bed to sleep on during long 9h flights.

What's the deal with airline food?

Every time I eat airline food, I end up passing out cold then waking up 4 to 6 hours later with my pants around my ankles and a sharp pain in my bum (And by "eat" I mean "ingest copious amounts willingly", and by "airline food" I mean "date rape drugs").

Any ideas?

I get air sick so just flying in general.

The worst part is easily the dirty looks everyone gives you when you crack the window.

Dropping food onto your lap.

Flights times between long and short flights.

They always seem like the most boring flights. It's just much easier to settle down on a long flight. You know it's a long flight and are less focused on the passage of time. You can also get some proper rest on a long flight so less chance of feeling like complete crap if it's overnight. Seeing you have 3 hours left on a really long flight is exciting. Seeing you have 3 hours left on an in-between flight time is excruciating.

Pre-corona I used to fly alot, here are my pet peeves

>fat people
>stinky people (those 2 tend to be related)
>retarded service staff who spill shit on you
>crying kids
>seat poachers (I usually just fly with hang luggage that can fit under the seat so I always board literally last since I'd rather sit at the gate than wait for everyone to board, "excuse me do you mind if we swap because..." No, I don't want your middle seat for my aisle or window seat gtfo.

Waiting for people to get off who are sitting closer to the front, watching all the boomers take forever to get up, get their stuff and leave.

Última edición:
I’m acrophobic, so I try to avoid being on planes as much as possible. The only time I really fly is to go visit my dad for a couple of weeks every year. I know the chances of something happening is very slim, but it doesn’t get rid of the fact I’m still terrified of heights. I try to at the very least not get a window seat, occupy myself with a book and try not to think about it

Flying sucks in general. There is nothing about the experience that is enjoyable or pleasant.

Either pay a fortune for a taxi to the airport, or pay a fortune to park your car at the airport. Queue for check in. Stupid bitch asking stupid fucking questions about if I packed my bag myself and if I'm aware of any explosives in my luggage. Queue to go through security. Colonoscopy by some minimum wage cave troll in a blue shirt while their colleague who is so overweight she she struggles to breathe normally paws through all your stuff. Walk to the gate, walk is long enough to be able to watch a movie along the way. Take out second mortgage to buy bottle of water and sandwich. Can't take your own because "wHaT iF sOmEoNe UsEd A bOtTlE oF wAtEr In A tErRoRiSt aTtAcK". Wait around for a day and a half on seats made of stone. Queue to get on plane. Squished into tiny space next to unwashed fatty. Sit and fucking wait for endless fucking hours. Food is made of plastic. Drinks come in tiny child sized bottles. Go ahead and wait some fucking more. When you finally land, fucking retards cheer and applaud as if it was some kind of miracle. Wait around some fucking more. Queue to get off the fucking plane. Queue to go through passport control / immigration. Answer more questions from another minimum wage cuck at immigration if you plan on overthrowing the government. And finally, wait around in another thousand mile long queue to spend hundreds of dollars to rent the worlds smallest car for a few days.

I fucking hate it and will always avoid it if it's in any way practical.

Are you all manlets or do you live where the airline allow leg room for people over 5'8"?

The worst thing about being on an airplane is the cramped seating and being forced to pay extra just so I can at least stretch my legs.

The thought of flying terrified me as a kid and I used to get some pre-flight jitters when I was younger, but I love flying flying now. So convenient (well, in some ways.) The worst part for me is all the regimented bullshit we have to go through to get on, and all the waiting in-between.
