I will not watch that show The Great North because it’s just bobs burgers in Alaska, without the burgers and Gene.
I've seen every episode of The Great North that has aired thus far. Even as a Bob's Burgers fan, I'm pretty indifferent to it so far (with the caveat that I was also lukewarm to Bob's Burgers at first too). I think my big issue is that I still don't know what to make of Beef Tobin, the Nick Offerman character. He just seems like he's supposed to be a deconstruction of a stereotypical rugged Alaska man, but I don't think the show has even mentioned what he does for a living, if anything. With Bob's Burgers, you know right away what Bob Belcher does for a living since it's in the title and it's the first thing you see in the opening title sequence, and Bob himself always just felt like a normal guy who runs a small restaurant with his family, not a deconstruction of any particular stereotype.
