Might sound degenerate, but I have a lot more respect for the people that post art on rule34 than people who use Tumblr and Twitter to post their art. At least rule34 never takes themselves too seriously to the point where they get “woke”.
 
I don't really mind folks who use tumblr or twitter for art platforms.
I DO mind when people go out of their way to start shit for petty reasons, or none at all. I follow a lot of artists that migrated from tumblr and use twitter, and tend to be selective about it so I don't see TOO much of this shit.

It's very easy to start shit and spread it around on twitter than any other platform from what I've seen. It's awful just how quickly people become toxic and hateful towards each other.

Good thread, though. Funny to see a few specific artists on here, and kind of hoping to see more.
 
It’s still weird to me that 9/10 game grumps fan artists are SJWs in denial of shipping Arin and Danny.

To repeat what everyone else is saying it would be a good idea to have specific examples and screenshots of artists in the OP. I would also change the title of this thread from 'Art Twitter General' to either 'Woke Art Twitter General' or drop Twitter from the title and go with 'Woke E-Artist General'. Not every artist on Twitter is a 'woke' e-artist and these people exist off of Twitter too.

If it helps when I think of a 'woke' e-artist I think of Destiny, Succulentbud, TEACHlKO, jerichuwu, bimbopierrot / gothimbo, cum_binary, thumbcramps (before her twitter suspension) and Mannycorobo.

I know there is already a lot added to the lists, but I'll like to add some more info based on what I've saw from these people.
- Bashing Paw Patrol and other shows that portray cops in a good light.
- Think that genderbends are transphobic and rather make trans headcanons.
- Constantly make LGBT headcanons and often shove them down others' throats.
- Frequent keysmashing to show emotion.
- Generally negative/hostile or overly happy to an annoying degree in mannerisms.
- Like shittalking and bashing on "problematic" shows, examples are show below.

From what I know its because they are good friends with and defended PewDiePie, especially during the PDP VS T-Series sub count. That made them extremely buttmad due to their "guilty by association" mindset.
 
POC Art Twitter are............... special. I was following a black artist n quickly unfollowed because it just seems like 99% of her time are spent bitching about how no one is supporting her because she's black n everyone is racist n 1% are her art.

I’m not exactly sure if I actually saw it on DNIs as my memory is hazy but for all I know Woke Art Twitter frequently bashes on the show, especially when BLM and ACAB are in full swing just because the characters are cops and dogs. To be honest, I think their hatred on Paw Patrol is more of their common personality trait rather than DNI/Problematic Fandom now that I think about it. I still wouldn’t be surprised if they use it as an “incriminating reason” when calling out others for whatever reason though.

I relate to this a lot. Some of the artists I used to follow identified as latine. But I now notice that most of them have native listed in their bios now. Usually, I would let it slide, but they would never talk about ID politics until their 23andme results came in or they discovered their "erased" heritage. These people are really nervous about being white.

It's such a bummer these faggots put some kind of sour taste to carrd, I find it to be a pretty convenient (free) thing to have to connect one's different mediums (art, music, freelancing, videos, etc) in one clean space to link in bios/sigs.
Though, that said, I did only discover it by some chick linking her "donate to black lives matters u_u" cancer carrd...
 
So much yapping and for what? all these twitter artists are really shitty, all drama and no meat, just shitty amateur drawings and too many bean mouths. You don't see this bullshit on Artstation or Cgsociety.

Oh wow, yet another art site ran by SJWs. Just what we needed. What's the point of diet FurAffinity if they don't do anything to seperate themselves from other sites and are more restrictive on content posted on the site?

And sheesh, MYFCO is still a thing? Returning to it just made me remember how much of a mess that site is, due to the complete lack of quality control when it comes to submitting characters, with the overwhelming amount of duplicates there are. She doesn't seem to be very active there, though.

It hasn't been launched yet.
Voidspacer is actually no longer working on Artrise, he resigned back in May of 2020. The project is apparently currently in overhaul, and the entire Discord server is in read only mode, as of May 3rd, 2021.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it follows the fate of all of the attempts at creating a new art website a la old school deviantArt, ending up abandoned before it even finishes.
