I saw this posted on Wizardchan way the fuck back when this thread was first opened, and I remember thinking, "This has to be a fucking joke", but after almost 90 pages, I'm inclined to think there's at least a portion of the wizards who think like this. I'm pretty sure some basement dwellers would take offense to that since some could hate MLP. As for which pony they like best, I like to see the rage when one of them says they prefer a pony s Applejack over another such as Twilight.

It would be good if the wizards would learn an instrument or a language, study different academic subjects (such as philosophy, but I'd like to see one of them try to understand Nietzsche ), learn how to do different skills (such as painting), socialize, network and exercise with all the free time they have. I’m unemployed and am trying to learn different things and improve my life, as well. Even people who work 40 hours a week find solace in the activities in that list. Of course, we know all they’ll do is play vidya, watch anime and kvetch about their life on Wizardchan. Even Chris does more than they do, because he at least makes stuff with Legoes and goes on q-sand runs and does other errands for his mom.

Also, if wizards have a dream come true and have an eternal vacation, why are they so miserable? For real, they are the nastiest group this side of loveshies. They're miserable because they never do anything constructive or rewarding, IMO.

That's probably what's worst about that strawman comic. They argue that working your life away is a waste 'cause you can't do the things you love... and then they sit around moping all day. I'm a full-time college student with next to no free time and I'm still happier than these clowns.

In the comic, if wizards have a non-stop 7 free days of weekend, then why do most of them use that time to do things that turn into routine ( sleeping, playing vidya, fapping, sleeping, playing vidya, fapping ad infinitum) instead of doing something new, like taking a trip or learning new stuff?

Yes, there are wizards that are exception to this, but they are quite a minority. The average wizard only does these stuff that I mentioned that then turns into routine, instead of actually doing something fun and new, since that is what their free time is supposed to be?
