I imagine it's one of those games where you can't really tell how it plays until you see some organic gameplay or you play itself. I will give them props for the interesting style and it is strait up the Catholic Church and the Papacy rather than the usual "Theocracy-with-Christian-themes-and-motifs-but-it's-not-the-papacy" that you normally see. At least that's kinda novel in vidya games

Personally I'll also want to know how it handles theology, and if the Church has more significant role than just set dressing.

Huh, it was only EGS exclusive for six months then.
I like the guns and the movement but the enemies and environments leave something to be desired. Mage-tech shit is always cool. I don't like how it seems like it's a mangled mess of looter shooter, extraction shooter, and roguelite.

I was going to say it looks very similar.
So it is an RPG now? I still have my boxed copy of Painkiller + Battle Out of Hell, right here on my desk in fact. Got to replay the game again one of these days. I will definitely look into this one.
