this is the most likely explanation , they don't seem the most hygenic
I wouldn't be surprised if it was, the setups I see at most of my local WingStops tend to have a bowl for each wing sauce (this also extends to their "dry" seasonings like lemon pepper and Louisiana Rub since they're tossed in a liquid margarine mix before being seasoned) but they share one-to-two large bowls for seasoning their fries.
 
There's a Wingstop that I pass often and it always reeks of shit, that wasn't the case when it first opened like 8 years ago so who the fuck knows why that place became such an olfactory hazard and I won't be taking a single step inside to find out why.
The same thing happened to the Wingstop near me. It had banging wings for about 6 months, and then the quality went in the shitter. I wonder if it's a marketing ploy by them to get people in the door first, then lower the quality once they're hooked. Either way, I haven't eaten there in a long time because of this.
