Remember when Shatner purposely messed up footage of him and Zoe Saldana (Uhura) hugging so they used the footage of the two kissing instead? The first interracial kiss ever on tv?

I think you meant to say Nichelle Nichols, unless Zoe Saldana is a time traveller and you know something that I don't?
 
I remember from one of his memoirs, he got tired of Nimoy's smug superiority over riding a bike to the commissary and getting there before the rest of the cast (who had to walk), so he chained one of his Dobermans to the bike one day, just to make a point.

That aside, I'm starting to wonder just how accurate the narrative is about why the other Trek stars don't like him. Hollywood lefties have that bad habit of despising everything about someone and making wild accusations if that someone disagrees with them.
