💼 Careercow Will Stancil / whstancil / stancilculture - "Vibecession" proponent and Biden booster neolib, the "chihuahua of twitter", Important Master's Degree (in Black People), chooses endurance mode "lolcowing through it" as an argument strategy, "Proud member of Do-Something Twitter", raped by Grok

You know, when Will stancil went on a rant about we should've culled the towelheads in the middle east (in a now deleted Twitter thread.) That's when he got my support. I WILL be voting for his ten gorillion year Reich.

I still remember fondly the time William "White Hot Rage" Stencil told me about his time with the Aryan Brotherhood after he got convicted for the rape and murder of Biggie Small behind a Arby's in 1994.

Seeing all the far right extremists supporting Will Stancil has convinced me there must be something going on. No smoke without fire.
That sounds like a "credible accusation" to me. He's a white cis male, after all, anything he is accused of he must have done.

Why is Elon Musk still platforming this bigot?

Stancil's writing on "Vibes in politics" link, archive
In other words, if you treat politics as a psychological process, it’s easy to quickly arrive at the conclusion that the forces that are going to have the strongest effect on voters are the barrage of direct messages they receive — messages that, more or less, directly tell people what to believe. Whatever used to be true, almost unquestionably the largest source of direct messaging for most modern voters is going to be the constant media signals that are delivering them political information about the world. (The term media is being used broadly here, to mean traditional, partisan, and social media — basically any outside communication people are receiving about politics.) In the past, I’ve called that combined media message the “main signal” but you can really call it whatever you want. The point is that there are mechanical reasons to believe these messages are the primary variable input that affects political behavior.
Where have I heard this exact idea before...

Excellent thread. I hope Steve Sailer endorses his candidacy.

Will loves posting about how much he hates niggers and trannies in the private RW telegram channel we are in. Truly a very based candidate. Make sure to screenshot this comment so more people know that Will Stancil is /our/ guy and he is trying to subvert the democratic party from withing

It begins. Will the professional trolls and haters who he's been waging an endless war with be able to take down his run for office? Will he become the number one lolcow?

I really regret I replied to this guy when he was still just on the political twitter fringe, because he blocked me and I hate having to swap to a burner account just to keep up on him.

The fact that he is taking off is something special to me, and I'm not sure why. Just something about this one.

Word on the street is Will Stancil himself roams the streets of St. Paul late at night kidnapping Somalian children and selling them a few hours away in Milwaukee to a man known as “Torque Wheeler” to be made into cured meats.

In 2014, Carl Hoffman published the book Savage Harvest: A Tale of Cannibals, Colonialism, and Michael Rockefeller's Tragic Quest for Primitive Art in which he discusses researching Rockefeller's mysterious disappearance and presumed death. During multiple visits to the villages in the area, Hoffman heard several stories about men from Otsjanep killing Rockefeller after he had swum to shore. The stories, which were similar to testimonials collected in the 1960s, center around a handful of men arguing and eventually deciding to kill Rockefeller after he had swum to shore, in revenge for the 1958 killings of fellow tribesmen by Dutch authorities.

A hysterically liberal newspaper called the Minnesota Reformer posted an article about this:

What are the Nazis doing in a south Minneapolis legislative race? (Archive) (Article+News)

Enter Will Stancil, a liberal online pugilist who feels duty-bound — or perhaps he’s just a masochist — to take the fight to the far right.

What began as a posting campaign against the likes of Kirk and his ilk attracted much darker forces. First the purveyors of phony race “science” showed up to fight Stancil on Twitter with their 19th century ideas dressed up in 21st century charts.

Then full-on Nazis came on the scene. They tried to break into Stancil’s accounts, doxxed him and accused him of rape.
Will Stancil is a "liberal online pugilist" who takes on the Steve Sailer Who Must Not Be Named, so readers can't actually look him up and form their own opinions.
Naturally, the Nazis have sought to make trouble for Stancil. They’ve done it by pretending they are Stancil supporters and going after Jones in an obvious attempt to associate Stancil with Nazism and white supremacy.

“He’s been swinging a bat at the hornets’ nest of right-wing Twitter. And the hornets are out,” Jones told me.

Brandon Schorsch, who organizes against hate movements for Jewish Community Action, called the episode “absolutely scary” because these online meme campaigns can easily jump into the real world, especially given the American tolerance for guns. From the Tree of Life murders in Pittsburgh to the Charleston church massacre, from El Paso to Buffalo, we’ve witnessed a barrage of hate crimes in recent years.

Stancil isn’t responsible for the behavior of Nazis, but still he said he feels awful about what’s happened. He started blocking the Nazis from his Twitter feed, and they seem to have moved on from Jones.
Remember: shitposting on Twitter is basically shooting up a synagogue.
But Stancil isn’t backing down from his fight with the far right.

Dropping out of the race, as some have suggested, would merely embolden the far right as it looks for its next target.

“You can’t pretend the far-right extremism in the country isn’t happening,” Stancil said. “You need to have an answer to that, unfortunately, if nothing else for the health and safety of people in the district.”
But don't fret, Will Stancil will bravely continue to block people on Twitter.

The same guy already wrote a fawning article over Will:

Will Stancil: ‘repetitive and annoying’ — and an influential player in American politics (Archive)

He jumped on a social media grenade for us.

“When you don’t agree, you get bullied,” Stancil said.

He’s used to it: “I know this is shocking, but yeah, I was a real nerd in high school, and I guess I learned in high school not to care.”

He acknowledges that this is not an exercise in making friends.

“My approach is to stand my ground. And often it means being repetitive and annoying,” he told me.

Stancil’s relentlessness has given him a kind of legendary status on Twitter.
Yes, these are all people who unironically think arguing with people on Twitter is the most important struggle of our times, why do you ask?

When I talked to Hornstein, who isn’t on Twitter but was briefed on the situation, he sounded stunned.

“Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought Nazis would be involved in a state legislative race in Minneapolis.”
For me, this has to be the best part of the article.
"We roused an elderly tech illiterate Jewish man out of bed to tell him over the phone real-life Gestapo members were waging meme warfare through cyber space! He responded with confusion and bewilderment, shockingly enough."

I don't want to PL myself, but I went to Minneapolis for a Cubs-Twins series years ago. While there I stopped by an English pub after the game and ended up talking with a college student. He was studying Reconstruction Era Black History in Belfast. I asked him why he traveled to Belfast to study American history and he said it was to 'learn from the best.' When I asked what he meant he waved his hand and said 'Irish niggers. Black niggers. They're all the same and need to be kept down with bullet, bomb and plantation.' He said he was going to cut his summer vacation short to catch 'the marching season' and asked if I would donate to a charity for 'shoeless Protestant orphans'.

Will had another article written about him a month ago.

‘I Don’t Get Off On It’: Meet Will Stancil, the MN Man Caught In a Perpetual Twitter Fight (Archive)

Seemingly out of nowhere, Stancil has become a national political pundit on Twitter. We spent 1.5 hours trying to get to know him.
"I don't feel I'm much like my Twitter..." says Stancil, 38. "I'm nicer! I think I'm just so much more boring than people expect."

Winding him up wasn't difficult. Per my voice recorder, Stancil spoke for 81% of our 1.5-hour chat. We touched on his growing up in the "religious and conservative" town of Belmont, North Carolina, becoming "intensely anti-Bush" because of the Iraq War, not fitting in while studying history at "bratty" Wake Forest University, and, eventually, matriculating to the University of Minnesota Law School on a full-ride scholarship. His understanding of Minnesota prior to moving here in 2009? "I'd seen the movie Fargo and I really liked it," he says with a chuckle.
Still stuck in the Bush years? You bet.
And that's the vibes thing that gets ascribed to you a lot?

I don't know if I originated it, but I've been one of the... primary vibes leaders. [Laughs.] So to me there's a bit of a personal thing, trying to demonstrate whether this is true. Partly because I would prefer Trump not to win. But also because I really think that people need to think about how this works outside of political science circles. You have to think about this, or you're going to get your lunch eaten by the far right. And then I have to live with that. Honestly, part of it is, ya know, I was curious if you could do it.

If you could shift the narrative?

I had an ex-girlfriend, and I'd drive her crazy because I would tell her: "I really think if you could get in their heads, you could shift it! That if enough people change the headlines, you could change everything." She was like, "This is this crazy, kooky theory of yours..."
The most shocking is that a guy who call himself a "primary vibes leader" actually had a girlfriend at some point.
So when you're confronted with studies like 40% of people couldn't come up with money for a $400 expenditure...

That's not true. That's a bogus statistic. I don't want to say there aren't people struggling, and it's really important for me as a progressive that we help those people. Politically, the way to help those people, is to understand we're a very affluent society, on average, and we have enough wealth to help the people at the bottom. But the $400 thing, or the 60% of people living paycheck-to-paycheck, they're either misleading or just wrong. And they're dangerous because they just exist to add negativity. And when people call those things out, it's like, OK, it's out there in the ecosystem—the correct way to respond to this stuff, which means I don't have to. It's nice, the load is off. I can go fight with the Nazis now! [Laughs.]
"There are people desperately struggling-" "No there aren't."

What about this guy is so fascinating to journos?

Stencil Will meet up with Montana Militiaman Ben Garrison to encircle his district and enforce a white ethnostate.
He told me so in his discord.

Haha his girlfriend left him because he wouldn’t shut up about his stupid politics.

"I grew up in the South"

Ahhh, the favorite argument of John Walker Flynt.

Good OP, insufferable nerds like this deserve it.
I once had a college professor who apropos of nothing dedicated a good chunk of one of his lectures to talking about how as a Southerner (this was in a college in the midwest) he has a personal duty to educate about racism as atonement for the past (this was not in a sociology class fyi).

I bring this up just to say that southern libtards are even more insufferable, probably because they feel they have something to prove to their libtard colleagues who are so open-minded and understanding that they unironically think all southerners are inbred racist hicks just like in their favorite TV shows! To give full credit to this professor he was pretty good at teaching his subject matter, at least when he didn’t go on weird tangents like this.

Also, he had said during another lecture that his grandparents are from New England, and the place he lived in the South was a major city, so something tells me he’s not quite as much of a Southerner as he led us to believe.

It's not just the South. Red-state libtards have massive chips on their shoulders over living in a place they consistently get outvoted.
