Basically, it's a bar code number for the merch that a retailer sells and what pissed this kid off is that he doesn't understand that a company can change them whenever they buy it from a vendor.


So basically, it's an company's internalized tracking number and there's an international equivalent for this. All things considered, he's essentially crying that the leaves on his favorite tree are changing colors in autumn.
