Grug's people need food to survive winter. Grug's land make bad crops.

Groll's people have food. Grug's people starve, or take Groll's people food. Only one tribe survive.
 
Either you want something the other country has, or the other country is harassing yours and needs to be taught a lesson.
 
Greg not have good land with rocks in it. Grugsy other grudge have better land with rocks in it. Grugg take other grubs land with rocks in it by force. And there you have the reason people go to war.
 
War is kind of gay now. Small, limited actions with a whole bunch of rules and stuff.

If you're going to wage and win a war, it needs to be brutal and fast. Preferably followed by immediate annexation. No, I don't want to overthrow your current regime and install a new one that is loyal to us. WE are your new regime.
