In simplest terms, the medical consensus is that sex is determined by what sort of gamete your gonads produce , gender identity is determined (as best they can tell) by a mosaic of brain structures and some people are simply mismatched between their sex and gender. Gender Identity is just as biological as your sex

The actual goals haven't changed any in the 50 years I've watched it. It was very simple in the 50's and 60's . you were straight or queer and if you were queer you were either the gay "f" word, a lesbian or the "t" word. all of these subclasses existed, but were irrelevant to the conflicts of interest between straights and queers, as in what specific kind of queer you were was nothing straight people needed to know. A lot of it is confusing and and imposing on the queer community , demanding special treatment. Nobody cares what you do behind closed doors, so stop trying to impose your entire being on people who can't relate to your reality.

Today, the real work goes on as it always has, with parents and doctors out in front of well informed, gracious advocates identifying as the various letters, telling it like it is coherently and in good humor. The trans taliban you all are constantly discussing are the lunatic fringe, not the movement. the movement is about full inclusion and no straight bashing or kink shaming. safe spaces for people to be themselves with no fear of stigma with equal protection under the law was the goal then and is still the goal.

What about "adamstocher" or "jubelhure" (we Germans have a lot of slangs/ slurs for them, my favourite being Buchsenmasseuse)? There's also "lencha", and if you're into Japanese Yuri there's "Yurizoku".

There's also rugmuncher, muff diver, bean flicker, etc. For gay guys there's fag, queer (though that one's getting repurposed), cocksucker, poof, fairy, bumpuncher, etc. I actually don't know that many for trans people outside of tranny and troon. They probably count every time they get 'misgendered' as an slur/attack though.

Context matters man. If it's the 4 yr old's family member who isn't the badtouch Uncle? There probably isn't a problem with that.

You on the other hand shouldn't be close enough to a 4 yr old of any gender to talk to them, and if you are I can't imagine the creep vibes you must give off in real life that even a child would recognize you as a danger.
