CEO Ajay Banga from Mastercard

CEO Ginni Rometty from IBM
CEO Jeff Weiner from Linkedin

What gave them the good business sense that a virus induced market crash was coming?

Is it just corona virus or is there more on the horizon?

I guess with what's happening in the world (woke culture, Trump, Corona Virus, social media), it's too much for them to keep up in a steady pace. If their company fails, they may not want to get the backlash.

Or they're just getting old and want to retire (with their golden parachutes to Timbuktu.)

So they can sell all their stock before the market crashes without being prosecuted for insider trading.

They knew the effects corona would have on the economy and jumped before they could be blamed for it.
The only one that isn't going to be affected by it is Hulu but Hulu is failing.

Lots of reasons, most of them not seeming to relate to the economy.

Bill Gates from board of directors of Microsoft - hasn't done anything of importance with Microsoft for years, already rich AF
CEO Marilyn Hewson from Lockheed Martin - retained executive chair of the board
CEO Bob Iger from Disney - talked about leaving previously, probably to protect legacy before the knives come out for the inevitable 20th Century Fox/Marvel/Lucasfilm housecleaning
CEO Les Wexner from Lbrands (longest sitting CEO in the world, 57 years) - a man in his 80s with not much life to live yet and a company that has been shrinking for years
CEO Ajay Banga from Mastercard - will step down by December, announced it before the real coronamania
CEO Jason Droege from Uber Eats - founder of company, cashed out before oversaturation makes it worthless
CEO Randy Freer from Hulu - golden parachute under Disney restructuring
CEO James Murren from Mgm - motivations unclear
CEO Ginni Rometty from IBM - motivations unclear
CEO Jeff Weiner from Linkedin - retained executive chair
Fernando Mercé from Nestle Waters - still in control
co-CEO Keith Block Salesforce - motivations unclear
Barbara Novick from Blackrock - still with the company
Jeff Bezos from Amazon - still in control
