it's a refreshing reprieve from everywhere else where any kind of conversation inevitably devolves into either sharing porn/shitty memes or the following image

the older userbase is also a nice bonus, underages are pretty easy to spot and get fumigated quickly so the site isn't overrun with them like a lot of other places for discussion are. Very nice change of pace.
I appreciate the cow section for the sake of archival and keeping permanent record of some heinous stuff, but I can't bring myself to participate outside of very fringe cases or huge groups of people. Just makes me feel like a shitty person, I don't want to rip on random people I have no connection to and find it hard to laugh at their actions most of the time. I'm probably the type of user Dear Feeder wants to be rid of in that regard, my apologies to him lol.
