It's probably a combination of things, though. There are other vidya and anime characters named "Lilith." The mythological Lilith is mall goth-level occult knowledge as well as a feminist touchstone, so it has connotations of anti-establishment female power. It's spelled phonetically. Some edgy troons have just enough self-awareness to pick a name that sounds like "Lily," instead of going full Ebony Darkness.
