Ive had lemon ice cream, and Ive made my own lemon ice cream and its good. The thing is that youre using the lemon zest or orange zest and steeping it in the cream.
Ive had 'strawberry lemonade' ice cream that was lemon ice cream with a sort of jammy strawberry syrup swirled in, and another lemon one that had chunks of shortbread cookies or something and a bit of whipped cream swirled throughout that was meant to be a lemon meringue pie flavor.

Lemon flavored shit is some of my favorite, it works well in desserts all the time. My mom even got me a lemon 'white chocolate bar' that had chunks of sugar and candied lemon peel on it.

My go to icecream place has both, but they are meh at best. Grape products often taste bad, thats why we use so much fake grape flavour.

I have made Orange ice at home often, just use the Standard ice Formula and add a bit of Cointreau noir. I would always add a tiny bit of spices and Vanilla because those make the ice more round in its taste.

You could make it with zest rather than juice or add something like Cointreau or grand Marnier
