Why do I get notifications a thread I don't follow?

Hello. Like the title says, I get notifications whenever someone posts on a thread I don't follow.



I'm talking about the Greer v. Moon thread. I do follow Russell's thread in Lolcows, but as far as I checked, I don't follow his lolsuit one nor do I follow the board itself. So yeah, why do I get notifications for it? It confuses me because I think it's the one in Lolcows and I'm afraid of shitting it up.

Did you ever post a comment in that thread? Your account settings could be set to automatically follow a thread if you post there.

I have commented there, but I've also done so in other threads that I don't follow and I don't get notifications from them.

It's also not on my list of Watched Threads.

Long shot, but do you follow Vinluv Handesbuskia or Sexy Senior Citizen? It might notify you if they post? Otherwise I'm thinking it might be a bug with all the theme work and privacy settings Null has been working on, might be worth posting in Talk To Staff about it.

Also if a message triggers a notification, but then that message is moved to another thread (like mass debates, or if a lawuit thread post gets moved to the lolcow thread), then the notification will update instead of just disappearing
