I'm Christian but readily admit not a very good one. Can't speak for anyone else, but I don't strive for holiness; I just want to be a decent human being who goes where the truth takes me. Yeah I don't care about lolcows at all and generally think tracking them is an unworthy activity unless they're up to horrible shit that needs to be documented. However, I like talking to people I don't necessarily agree with because echo chambers are lame and dangerous, and I have a lot of strong, negative opinions about the direction of society. Only place you can really have conversations with normal people. I know, ""normal"". But when you're hung and lynched in the town square for believing in God everywhere else unless you betray your faith and beg the alphabet soup mafia that you're one of the 'good ones' and gay, pedo, trannies are heckin' validreno and can do no wrong, this place seems pretty normal.

You can have a conversation with other people without being immediately dismissed, doxxed, losing your job and cancelled because you're not following the NPCs.

As someone who exists in both areas and can only do so outside the farms because I hold my tongue, I've seen how absolutely horrifically rancid they are on a daily basis.
And as an oldie of the Internet where the farms are almost just like the old Internet, I feel most at ease here.

I'm not a perfect Christian and there is no such thing. Anyone who claims otherwise is lying. It's nice to have a space where you don't have to worry about the cult as they have quickly invaded Christianity spaces as well.
