Why do boomers love saying "they're trying to divide us"?

Solución
Because they are barely perceiving the mechanisms of how power perpetuates itself in our society, but instead of understanding the method, cause, and flow, they revert to the comforts of a misremembered past, where life was all about going to baseball games together and watching movies and nothing too bad ever happened. They are ideologically conditioned to have the opinions that they have, and it is a waste of time to engage with them.

Back in the day America used to indoctrinate its children with vile propaganda from that evil racist Abraham Lincoln, who once said something about dividing houses, I don't remember the exact quote. But now those libs are actually fucking doing it, people in california are literally buying single-family homes and dividing them into multiple apartments and renting them off individually, it's disgusting. That's what Abe was talking about, that's what boomers are talking about.

It's a power move with them feigning solidarity. It's guaranteed that moments later the boomer will then vilify the subsequent generation, "millennials" so that they could feel superior to a generation they deem inferior. Generational arguments are the lowest of low-hanging fruit. People with nothing going on in their heads will likely quickly resort to stances like that.

Boomers are supposed to have great wisdom, but they seem to be attracted to hip e-celebs who mass produce these surface level ideas on hierarchy, civic nationalism and mass media/govt manipulation. They're also extremely terrified of being called racist and think trannies can hack their phones and computers whenever they want.

It's all about getting to put your boot on someone else's throat. Look at what the republicans are doing now. They railed against the democrats going too far with abortion. Then the SCOTUS repealed Roe vs Wade and what did the red states do? They started banning abortions. Now the poll polls are tightening and Kansas a deep red state voted to keep abortions legal in their state and some people on the right complained about it. There is one thing the republicans and the retards on the right know how to do that and is lose and die on hills that aren't important.
