Why can't I quote certain posts?

When I try to quote certain posts, especially in the MovieBob thread, I get this:

you gotta hold the leftclick and mark the words/sentences/articles. Null did this on purpose so people wouldn't scroll that long for each post.

Tooltips aren't reliable. Really none of this load-on-demand garbage is reliable.

I have to keep a bookmark to the full login page because 9/10 times the popup login doesn't fucking load.

It's good to finally have an answer to this mystery though. There is no way I was ever going to find that post on page 55 of a 74 page thread.

The tooltips aren't load-on-demand, though. They're generated by your browser, from the title attribute of the tag, as originally specified in html 4.01 almost 25 years ago.

The rest of your issues are likely because of your browser's ad blocker being over-aggressive with its pop-up blocking. Either that, or because of the trannies DDOSing KF and breaking shit.

I use Tor Browser with no extensions, and the site usually works better for me DURING a troon attack.

As for the tooltips, yeah I've looked at the source and I'll concede that they're in the HTML. Maybe I've just never bothered to hover over some text that clearly looks like it's supposed to be a link but isn't.
