Why are users who have the default profile picture the most retarded? - The hidden scurge of the internet

I've noticed this trend for a long time and I'm sure others have too. On any website or forum, be it old or new, there seems to be a weird but consistent correlation between individuals who have the placeholder "default" profile picture and being some of the worst posters on that particular site. They always seem to have an affinity for derailing threads or comment sections with their unique brand of brain-dead rants. I know it can probably be easily explained by throwaway accounts wanting to start shit but this pattern has come up so many times during my time online that I simply needed to know if others notice it as well. What compels a person not to take the minute of time that it does to upload a random jpeg in the user settings? Is there anything that can be done to get these faceless freaks out of here?

Why even bother taking them seriously if they can't at least take the time to do that? I think the most retarded users fall into more complex categories than that, at least on this site. As for what can be done about them, auto-assigning them badge of shame pfp's and shit like that isn't going to motivate anyone to be less retarded. Tards on this site wear shit like that as a badge of honor. Take the pink triangle for example. You really gotta just ignore them or embrace their bullshit and laugh at it. I would be fine with them and for the most part, they say one retarded thing and then move on but it's the ones that latch on to a thread and start taking a hefty diarrhea shit for over ten pages. It does get annoying having to shift through the ensuing back in forth between users to find useful information. There's also the aesthetic argument of they look fucking ugly. Shout out to those who just make an account to lurk and never post. Those are the only default profile pictures I'll give credence to.

Having a default is as bad as someone who changes their pfp every week.
If it's something like "whiskey" and you have a slightly different bottle of whiskey every week, thats not too bad. If your name is some random garbage and your pfp is of something completely random you may as well have a big letter in front of your name for identification purposes.
