Sorry for the "Dumb", i tend to be absolute bitch sometimes. You're correct for the most part, the early 3D aesthetic is nice, but specifically i prefer the N64 3D aesthetic, i don't enjoy the PS1 aesthetics that much.

Nah, but thanks for the input. You're indeed correct they tend to leech between different generations from time to time, but i feel like the PS1 aesthetic in particular stands out for them in a way.
Actually the furry fandom came about from fans of anthropomorphic animals at scifi conventions in the 1980s who began to meet up regularly, the first furry convention was in ConFurence 0 in 1989. Troons had nothing to do with it though i'm sure they would try to take credit for it if they thought about it just like they decided that they are the face and spokespeople of the entire LGBT.
i've got an anthro comic book from 1986 that's basically just chip and dale rescue rangers but doing vietnam. It's trying to be edgy but really isn't, especially in comparison to other shit that would have been coming out at that time like the Dark Knight comics. i know eric schwartz was doing horny as fuck amiga cartoons circa 1990 with characters that basically just resemble the disney aesthetic from the era.

They overlap sure but one key difference is that furries will absolutely call out and banish those who publicly disgrace their fandom while troons will quite literally defend a pedophile from criticism and callouts if they call themselves "trans", i've seen it happen a few times myself. Dog shit is more respectable than a troon.
It boils down to, "I
weird/obscure thing" which plays into the collective trend of post irony. Theres no special magic to it but people that just want to feel included in something thats so niche that makes them appear to be the only person interested in that thing. This applies doubly to trannies. But in time will pass just like any other fad or trend, the only trends that seem to truly pass on are the ones that are widely adopted by the media for example, goth, anarchism, video game culture, etc. Certain elements of modern media and culture could also pass on through traits, context and relation but it's still rare for stuff that just doesn't seem to make sense for those not in the know.
people say this about furries but if you just take a step back the entire fandom is a group of deviant artists (heh) that produce largely valueless and aesthetically questionable body of work that people outside the fandom do not give a shit about. and most of that art is pornography. So much so that they often try to separate the clean from the dirty and fail to do . Eric schwartz used that sabrina character in his pornography as the receptionist for the porn studio, to try and make some kind of clever lampshaded separation between the clean and the porn.
