My grandma is a christian and i told her im a buddhist , She told me i Will go to hell because There's ONLY One God ,the God of Israel and his son ,Jesus Christ, came to die for all our sins and was the only perfect creature made by his image and every religion that contradicts them Will go to hell? How are they so Faithfull on such nonsense?

God made us live and then abandoned us probably for another creation.
There is no heaven nor hell, just this.
Doomed to wage endless wars to determine who or what god's image was, often in dustbowls, devoid of any life, just sand that can never be shaped into something.

Its ironic.

What a simplistic view.

Even after assuming free will exists, humans are born into an already cruel and chaotic world, where the evidence of a theistic god and heaven (such as a Christian god who intervenes in both life and after death, and not one that doesn't) is insufficient to the rational mind. So a supposed deity like this would create beings in this universe and expect them to accept an effectively fairy tale, and when they don't, even if they are not cruel and immoral (e.g: simply by being a Buddhist), it sends them to hell. That isn't loving, that is a tyranny.

What you're describing is a sadistic test designed for most human life on earth to fail, even if they're moral humans. To punish those who don't see this negligent, supposed omnipotent authority as good.

On top of everything, what that ignorant person (OP's grandma) is professing goes against any level of empathy and kindness that is shown by decent christians & people, she's the prime example of someone taking the supposed "good" side, but in reality being a rotten hateful person.
You clearly have the mind of someone who lacks perspective when you say shit like this. You're fortunate enough to not know what real pain is, by the way you're talking, and then expecting to put your faith in something that by all metrics seems to not exist, or have completely abandoned you.

The fact that you then go into the penultimate claim (thanks Neger) about mere mortals not knowing what good and morality is, and that their imaginary king does, just kills all discourse. No point really.

Their grandma is not objectively right, she's a retard that belongs in the middle ages.
This is the gayest shit i've ever read in my entire life, clearly the internet is doing a better job at providing spiritual comfort for you than a book about a divine being coming to earth, seeing what became of humanity after the great flood and deciding to sacrifice itself so you can feel proud about being yourself, way to go, my brother/sister!

Thank you for wording this in a very not gay way at all.

Christianity's greatest achievement is British Israelism, Mexico and liberals. Amen.

Even with Hindis being the majority, the land is still soaked with buddhism
They're less than one percent in India. And it wasn't funded by an indian, Sidarta Gautama was a nepalese prince

India's modern culture is incompatible with buddhism. The only similarities are dharmic roots and that's pushing it

That is just closing discussion (lazily I will add) by mentioning knowledgeable people on their fields, which anyone can do, and so there is no response to that, because it leads the path to an obvious fallacy.
Your point is that no rational person would belive in such a God as it would be obviously irrational. Lots of philosophers and important philosophers did believe, that was my point.
And also by no means you are a "good" person, nor the place which you take your "objectivity" from is righteous.
Christiany claims all humans are inherently flawed and wicked, so you are not wrong. The last part is also your subjective opinion. How is your subjective understanding of what is "righteous" and "good" more than just an opinion? How can you claim mine is not? You need a point of reference beyond subjective opinion to make a claim about good and evil and make it have any real weight. You just stated you dislike mine.

Buddha was smart enough to see that Hinduism is broken but too ignorant to really do anything about it.

Only one religion at most can really be the correct one. This is common sense, really. If you compare the three major Abrahamic faiths, you may see many similarities but their most important doctrines contradict each other. Christians believe Jesus is the Messiah. Jews, when they aren't denying the Christ or their role in the crucifixion, are looking for another messiah that never came. Muslims claim He is a lesser prophet than their favorite pedophile. If Christianity is the one true religion, believers of the other two are rather foolish. Perhaps they're closer to the truth than they would be believing in nothing, but they've still failed to comprehend the ultimate reality of God.

Christcucks like you are being phased out thankfully.

1. Are you sure @Sneaky lurker isn't just an asshole?
2. Phased out for what? Atheism? Being a meaningless cosmic accident with delusions of self-importance?

The world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

They hate me because I speak the truth.

This user is probably a white supremacist pagan.

Ignorance is thinking that he should have done anything about it. If jeets want to wallow on their ignorance, that's their choice. You can show someone the way, but it's up to them to follow it. What became of India in the millenia after is irrelevant in the great scheme of things

After reading about Buddhist Hell, I'd rather go to the Christian Hell. You guys have a very scary Hell. It even has bureaucracy. You can also go to it multiple times thanks to reincarnation.
Hey, at least it's not eternal. After 4 quadrillion years you get to leave

On a more serious note, the worst hells are for worst people. "Regular flawed" people don't get to go to the "scary hells". Just strive to be a good person and push away ignorance. You have your best shot at it right now

why do people even believe in reincarnation? wouldn't it be scary being reincarnated as an ant or fly?
No, the horror is in assuming that anyone born into a life less comfortable than yours must have deserved it.

Enter the Indian caste system. You're a Brahmin, so you must have been a goody two-shoes in your past life, unlike the filthy degenerates below you. Everyone on a lower caste than you was less moral than you overall in their past lives. They don't remember any of their past sins, but they must have committed them because your idol-worshipping ancestors said so.

In American justice, people accused of crimes are innocent until proven guilty. In Hinduism, you are guilty with zero evidence or memory of wrongdoing. That's damnable nonsense in and of itself. In Christianity, the only mortal life you're responsible for is your own, where your action have visible consequences.
