4. Have a reasonable facsimile to your target gender. Ex: You can be a big ol' bitch, but if you look like Niki De Jagger and not a big ol woman, you won't be able to legally transition. You can't have a body or voice like Blair White. I don't care what anyone says, Blaire White does not pass
5. Nobody with severe comorbid mental illnesses like PTSD, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, thought disorders, autism, or eating disorders.
6. You can't marry anyone.
7. You attempt suicide, even once, you'll be forced to legally and physically detransition.

make it so only the most severe sufferers of the disorder, the ones who are too far gone to get help from a shrink, can get the snip and drugs. Require years worth of legal hoops to go through just like getting NFA weaponry in order to filter out all but the most severe of sufferers.

The ones who aren't as severely affected by GD will receive proper therapy instead. Getting them out of it cleanly and bloodlessly.

The US has been waging a "war on drugs" for 60 years because they think drugs cause harm and destroy lives. I think that's largely bullshit, but more to the point I think they should be waging the same war against troonism, because that does actually destroy lives. SRS should be made illegal, people who perform it need to be ashamed of doing so to the point they stop, and people with "gender dysphoria" need to be treated ideally via counselling as mental patients, which is what they are, especially the young/teen ones. HRT absolutely needs to be banned for anyone under the age of 18.

In the future, if/when it becomes possible to transition cleanly using advanced tech, I imagine possibly the ban on SRS could be lifted for adults. Although still degenerate, it'd no longer permanently destroy your endocrine and reproductive systems and by extension your mental faculties.

That’s how it used to be. The recommendation by leading institutes was that surgeries and hormones were to be a last resort option for those with extreme dysphoria which has proven resistant to all other methods of treatment.

Personally I don’t even know that transition of any kind is the correct way to treat the disease. It’s a form of body dysmorphia, like anorexia, and we don’t go telling anorexics that yes, they are fat, and book them in for liposuction.
I’ve heard that the antipsychotic, pimozide, has proven effective against symptoms of dysmorphia, but in the current culture war climate such a line of treatment would be seen as ‘erasing trans people’, so we aren’t likely to see much data on it. Antipsychotics are known for their unpleasant side-effects, so I can understand people being hesitant to take them even if they do work, but axe wounds and flesh sausages are hardly desirable either.
