I have considered trying to move to a German speaking part of Hungary initially, although it is small portion. I don't think I would have a hard time adjusting there, but @TitanWest is right. It is better to fight it out, and not give up hope so soon,

The media wants us to give up hope on preserving our nation as every person who leaves is a person's voice who will no longer be heard when the time comes to preserve our rights.
 
On a happy notion don't think you can escape this thing without fixing it at home.

Fleeing down to the next highway exit whenever something got diverse is exactly how things got this bad.

Also as usual many liberals and conservatives would flee with you who would infest the so called based place you would move to. Turning it into the exact same thing.

I doubt those memetic good places exist anymore. Maybe during the Cold War, ironically.

Also it us ironic that because your country got invaded you want to do the same thing with someone else's.
 
I do recall this one far-right group who wanted to go create a all white area somewhere in the north-west of the US. Don't recall the name but I very much recall the weird invitation...

Never too early to prepare.

This week, had out 3 of my bug out bags, thinking my city was about to get burned. There is a Communist Insurrection happening, working out the backup plan and thinking: where would I go if I had to leave the US?

Canada, Australia and Europe are non-starters. If the US falls, the same thing happens there next. And not Israel. I have no problems with Jews, but I don't think that place is long for the world if the USA goes Commie. Plus I'd be an outsider.

Was thinking about Japan, the immigration process is not that hard. I have friends who immigrated there and seem to like it. On the downside, they've outsourced all their defense to the US for decades. I imagine the loss of the US as an ally would mean an invasion by the Chinese.

Was thinking about Russia. The immigration process for an American is actually kind of easy, you can get a visa that lasts 3 years and that's a lot of time to become naturalized. I hear it's mostly good, but travel restrictions would mean I need to stay in a single place. The downside is I'd have to keep moving, nothing about Russia makes me feel safe. Maybe if I moved to the Urals.

Was thinking about rest of world. Don't want to get caught in some trap in South America, used as a bargaining chip. Brazil can be nice, but I don't trust anything about the politics. Not opposed to Africa, not excited by it either. I know it's a big place that's only getting bigger, but my natural tendency would be to want to have some space. Not sure I'm getting that anywhere on the Continent.

Disturbs me to think I don't have this worked out already.

So Kiwis, where would you go and why?

I love how people are panicking when these "riots" are largely controlled and there's been minimal deaths. I mean like you go back in time and there was way more death and property damage during shit like the race riots of the 60s or the Civil War draft riots, and then you fast forward to the loud but dry fart of today, where law enforcement isn't even using live ammo and and most of the footage I've seen has been pretty low energy.

I think the modern western world is too pussified and seeing even the tip of the iceberg of actual strife causes people to panic because we lack collective experience with it.

I don't think there's a need to flee. Things aren't as bad as the media makes them seem, although it is frightening to see an increasing number of Americans embracing Chinese propaganda. Hopefully we get another red scare after these riots.

Everyone hates everyone else in Central Europe, and everyone hates gypsies more than anyone else.
Croatia and Serbia, the rest of the post-Yugoslavian countries, Hungary still saltier than a salt mine about 1920, Romania with their manufactured history and language, Slovakia being one of the youngest independent states - it wouldn't be able to get a beer in the USA - etc.

The original Vlachs were Romance-speaking Paleo-Balkanic people living on the local remains of the Roman Empire.
Romanian nationalist historians however, assert they are direct descendants of the Daco-Romans, indigenous Dacians mixed with Romans. This is the one I referred to as "manufactured"; the theory was developed in the 17th century and gained momentum in the 19th and 20th centuries around the time of budding nationalist movements.

AFAIK neither has been proven yet.
