Georgian, Armenian and Thai are awful writing systems where everything looks the same.

Written Cyrillic can be an absolute nightmare to read.
Yes, hand-written Cyrillic. Printed is quite easy to read.EDIT: Or do you mean hand-written?
Hebrew.
that's a problem specific to the english language. most other european languages that use the latin alphabet are pretty consistent, words are spoken as written, and letters are pronounced the same as they were in the latin language (with some minor exceptions)Roman writing was good until some moron decided to use it to write English instead of Latin. Then all the sounds changed but they didn't change the spellings so it got fifty times worse. Now it's the ultimate shibboleth. Everyone thinks if you can't spell you're a retard, but it's the writing system that's retarded. It's like Twitter. All it does is attract elitists who aren't even self aware enough to realize their self worth is based on memorizing arbitrary sequences of characters. It's like if I told you you're retarded because you don't know pi to 15 digits like I do.
baka gaijin, we only needed 3 alphabets to satisfy our conflicting desires for the perks of a Latin alphabet and the aesthetic pleasure of Chinese moon runes.Japanese, a language so shit it takes natives 15 years to be able to have a "decent" level
