At work there are some asian guys who are always hassling each other, asking if they want each others cock and the likes. So today that got me thinking about how I always thought that beat-off buddies was about the gayest thing you could possibly do without it 'technically' being gay [jerking off in the same room as another guy]. I therefore propose this question, which would be more gay, kissing a guy closed mouth and that's all that happens or the 'beat-off buddy' scenario?

It depends. If you're just beating off in a room that's pretty gay. If you're watching straight/lesbian porn together it's less gay but more weird. (Obviously gay male porn is maximum gay.)

The only reason I can imagine for masturbating in front of or beside/around another person is because that idea turns you on, otherwise you would just do it on your own because it would just be awkward as hell and there's no reason to do such a thing otherwise.

I'm sure in other cultures a closed-mouth kiss, or at least a kiss on the cheek between males is seen solely as a sign of respect or friendship with no homosexual overtones, however I'm almost certain that you don't jack off around your male friends unless you're at least bi-curious.

I mean it really comes down to what has the most sexual overtones. I'm pretty sure you could close-mouth kiss a relative, your child, whatever and not have it be weird but if you're masturbating mutually with that person then clearly a line has been crossed.

I'm with @WEEDle some cultures a kiss isn't always a sexual thing. Hell who here hasn't seen a mobster movie those guys darn near run a kissing booth factory during meetings/family events and are all "good Catholics". I've had a lot of buddies who were deployed and people forced into tight living spaces tend to desensitize and often leads to some pretty funny stories like stuck in a fox hole and using your med kit bandaids to wipe your ass etc. These people fight for a living and willing to die for the person they share a tent with but, never heard of not giving the person a little privacy to jack your shit.

I had a few experiences in my youth with acquaintances and people I knew at school apparently getting together and watching porn together. I was invited a few times and declined. I have to assume that includes jacking off under a blanket or something because why else would a group of adolescent boys watch fucking porn?

I have also seen the practice referenced in enough different places and media that I assume it's just a normal thing for teen boys. You know, hangin' with the guys, watching some porn together.

Even at that young age I was always like "Uhhh no thanks guys"
