The 19th century Grand Duchy of Oldenburg prior to unification. It had everything: high culture, philosophy, it was an industrial and agricultural powerhouse whilst retaining its natural beauty in the countryside; and its military might left even the likes of Prussia in the shadows.

The Germany where Marlene Dietrich was born.

The early & mid 90's in the former DDR part
-A lot of hope for the future, all the interesting modern shit arriving (if one wasn't a poorfag who did not exactly financially survive the change, or a No-Future meth-head)
-Niggers not yet in, I suppose
-Old architecture and urban design that survived the DDR era, albeit sometimes derelict, not yet ruined by modernism of these years
-That part seems to me more chill and random people friendlier, even now.

The Empire. Any other answer is either racist or dumb.
The second Reich was a complete political mess. Wilhelm II was one of the most incompetent leaders of the 19th century and his retardation directly lead to the first world war.

Actual answer:
Ottonian HRE or 3rd Reich.

The Kaiserreich was the most technologically advanced nation on Earth for its time, was the most powerful Germany has ever been on the world stage, wasn't a totalitarian dystopian nightmare that persecuted its own citizens, and its downfall was the impetus for what the Nazis were trying to recreate. It is objectively the best form of Germany, particularly the Bismarck years.

The Kaiserreich was the most technologically advanced nation on Earth for its time
It was somewhat better than Imperial Russia and vastly inferior to the British Empire or the USA.
was the most powerful Germany has ever been on the world stage
No, it was weak and impotent compared to either Russia or the British Empire.
wasn't a totalitarian dystopian nightmare that persecuted its own citizens
It was ruled by an incompetent, inbred cripple with an inferiority complex who very much did persecute his own citizens, and whose government were effectively composed of proto-Nazis. Look at how many of Willy #2's policies and beliefs, as well as those of his ministers, that were almost 1:1 for what the NSDAP later endorsed.
and its downfall was the impetus for what the Nazis were trying to recreate.
No, that was the failure of the rest of Germany's political parties to stop fighting amongst themselves long enough to block the NSDAP from gaining seats.
It is objectively the best form of Germany, particularly the Bismarck years.
It's so "objectively the best" that Willy #2 was always playing 3rd best behind his cousins George and Nikolai, and who gleefully sacrificed millions of German lives and the entirety of Germany's economy and colonial holdings simply because he refused to let go of his inferiority complex. The end result of his war with France and Britain was a stalemate that saw Germany turned into a borderline failed state, after he completely threw away decades of careful political maneuvering by Otto von Bismarck.

At least Hitler conquered and occupied France and kicked the British completely out of Mainland Europe entirely. Willy #2 couldn't even make it 50km beyond his own borders into France.

Had the KPD and SPD supported each other instead of waste their time fighting each other they could have stopped Hitler.

Thälmann was a good man at heart but he was a fool when it came to politics.
