Where do you see jace in the future?

From what we know of Jace's drug use, pretty much everything he's done has been really difficult to impossible to over dose on. The LD50 of THC, the primary psychoactive compound in marijuana is so ridiculously high that you would basically need someone to inject it into long after you passed out. Dextromethorphan, the active ingredient in OTC cough syrups used for "robtripping" likewise requires a very heroic dose to OD, and again you'd more than likely be passed out or otherwise too lost in your trip to administer that kind of dose. The main concern if he is still tripping on Robo is if he is taking MAOIs because of serotonin syndrome. The two biggest drugs of concern that we know Jace has dabbled in are the amphetamines in Adderall and the alcohol, however Adderall itself would also require fairly heroic doses to actually OD on. The main problem with amphetamines is cardiovascular and coronary failure...basically having a heart attack.

So unless Jace decides to get into opiates like Oxycodone or Heroin, benzodiazapines, or methamphetamine he should be OK for the most part. I use "OK" in relatively loose terms here. Most of what he like to take, from what I've seen, are relatively harmless and "safe". He seems to be more about "feeling good" with things like weed or booze. Amphetamines aren't a mellow "feel good" drug. Opiates are, but they are a bigger pain in the ass to get than weed. You either need to know a dealer or start scamming a doctor with fake injuries, which I don't see Jace doing either because of the risks involved, the effort required, and the ease in which he's able to get cannabis. With Jace's mental state I don't think robotripping is much fun for him either. I know from experience the kind of bad trip you can have from doing that shit.

I agree with you on most of this, but if the cough syrup he's chugging contains more than just the DXM. An overdose could possibly cause liver failure if he drinks the stuff with acetaminophen in it.
