Do people really go to the gym to talk with random strangers? Isn't everyone wearing headphones and doing their own thing?

My church youth group hasn't opened back up, but I could try chess or Melee
We only have one divine liturgy per week (my congregation can't afford to do midweek mass). Although, I have Catechesis this week.
I have a job, and I do chat with some of my co-workers.

can relate my father told me to find a community online or IRL so i joined this forum so i would tell you find forums i found a site im sure you would like called christ chan so my advice is join forums

I'm pretty sure this isn't legal to do.
I've tried the splinter sites (onionfarm users seem very autistic, cwcki club is run by a presumable funko-pop loving transexual) but nothing fits like Kiwifarms. As for Christchan, I've gotten bad smells from it i.e. bad posters, strange shilling that happened over in General Discussion.

yeah i can see that ive only dipped my toes in christchan im not aware of any bad things with it and onionfarms is just people seething at null ive made a forum but i must warn it has no posters aside from myself and is fairly new https://freedomfarms.freeforums.net/

I find attractive women approach me at the gym from time to time.
Especially at the nicer gyms, yes if you go regularly you usually make some lifelong friends.

Well how much social interaction do you want here? You say you have a job and talk to people, you say you go to church or w/e.
You sure that your problem isn't that you lack conversation, and more that you lack actual bonding activities? I always say that men don't have friends, they have comrades; I used to think that was a joke, but nowadays I'm not so sure.
Conversation is seriously overrated compared to mutual experience, and that's really where a lot of the problem lies these days; there's no shortage of people to talk to, but there is a shortage of people to just be present with.
I don't think that the extra social interaction would be of much benefit, that'll just lead to a Discord situation.
I have a close friend, or a comrade as you'd say, that I get together without talking much. And it's very good, I like the comradery and mutual-understanding without having to explain myself. However, it's difficult to make arrangements. And it's even harder to find people like that
And you're right, conversation isn't really my issue.
