What's your favorite booze?

I can't drink whiskey. It makes me angry and destructive. Last time I drank Jameson I decided a local dog park would look better if I pulled all the signs of their posts and threw them into the bushes. It took them months to find and replace them all. Then I stole some orange flags off some road construction barriers and brought them home with me. Woke up and found them lying on my bedroom floor.
 
Some cheap (ish) scotch a friend gave me called Pig Nose. Other than that, I usually like a good wheat beer (aka appparently it is called a hefenweizen. Thanks people in the bar.)
 
Single malts from Islay.
Stouts and plain old lagers.
Herb spirits like Underberg.

Really the only thing I don't like is vodka and American style moonshine.
 
I almost never drink, but when i do it's either Bailey's, Cointreau or my aunt's šljivovica
 
i am not much for liquor but there is something with drinking a neat glass of tequila that really does it for me
 
Tito’s Vodka. This shit is so smooth that when I had it the first time, I thought my roommate diluted it, so I drank more to make up for it. Several shots later and I was on the floor. Nowadays I know better and it’s a perfect mixer for anything.
 
Bourbon. Wild Turkey 101 is my 'daily driver', but as long as it steers clear of the cloying sweetness of Maker's Mark, I'm a huge fan.
 
You drop a Jolly Rancher into one of these and you will be the coolest kid in your high school class, BRO.

It's hard to really go wrong with any type of whiskey or rye unless you deliberately buy complete dogshit. Not even a matter of price because there's some low end stuff that's decent enough for what it is and sometimes just as good as shit that goes for twice as much or more. As far as more gimmicky liquors go, I like Aquavit and Pastis/similar anise-heavy stuff, though that kind of thing gets boring if you drink it too often. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Brandy and Cognac are Satan's own piss if you cheap out too much or just aren't careful about what you buy (with like 1 or 2 extremely rare exceptions that are both cheap and drinkable). Metaxa in particular has to be the most vile swill I've ever tried to drink, I have no idea how the Gay-Reeks turned it into a whole thing.

Alcohol is a massive no-no with my health now, but if I could, I'd definitely be keeping a bottle of this beauty in the house at all times.
