You know, the dreaded tumblr hair.

The half-shaved one.

Why is this kind of hairstyle growing?
What's up with this?
Seriously, it is not really good looking. Either I have yet to find someone who nails this or it's impossible because the style is that bad.

they see a picture of someone with an undercut an don’t realize the hairstyle is supposed to wrap around their head. also they're retarded.

They can flick the long hair over the bald bit. "I'm pretty." Expose the bald bit "I'm edgy."

Basically so they can be like other girls but also not like other girls, which always ends up being like other girls. It's the circle of girl life

I don't know but I hate it, it's a profoundly ugly hairstyle.

One thing that's creepy about SJWs is how they all look exactly alike, from the bearded soyboys to the dyed hair feminists, their looks reflect their hive mind thinking.

you would think rawrtards that hate men wouldnt get haircuts that resemble male haircuts... this has always been truly puzzling to me. it might be a inferiority complex thing. whatever it is its ugly and dumb. "look how unique and special i am" whilst having the same exact style and haircut as every other unique individual of the same cut. gg tumblr

The undercut is just a half-assed mohawk for people can't fully commit but still think it looks badass.
Very few people make it look good and they still look like a dork.

Advance apologies if this is a PL/humble bragqueef, but despite doing many questionable (and exceptional) things this lifetime; I am extremely glad that I have never adopted this truly tragic hairstyle.

It started getting used by a bunch of "stronk female hero" stereotypes in comics, sci-fi, etc. Borrowing the hairstyle is a shallow declaration that the person thinks they're badass.

Of course they aren't out there with guns and kungfu, flipping 300 lb guys over their heads and leading troops into battle. They're just bravely tweeting hashtags, voting for female politicians, and demanding to speak to the manager.

They're not even "stunning and brave"; they're stunning and brave wannabes. #TotallyAMood

I blame Skrillex.
He is probably the only one I know of with the hairstyle that is 'natural' to him. He been having it long before the SJW crowd got it on their claws despite being on the younger side since he got it (early 30s now). Doesn't help that he's rather shy and keeps to himself too, growing up in punk neighborhoods and just wants to make music. To me, the hairstyle is just... his. He gets a free pass.

I think it's cool.
Never saw a person who managed to make it look cool or cute.
