That sounds really familiar, especially the basic rhythm! It also makes me almost completely sure it was one of Akino Arai's songs, which would help a lot with narrowing it down. I think the song also might've had a short hammond intro. Thank you for lending a hand, I'll check if I can find the song I'm looking for in Arai's discography.
