How much of a difference is there between "Adventures of Sonic" Jaleel and "Sonic Sat AM" Jaleel? Given his aversion to anything that isn't bright and bubbly and wacky, I'd say Chris would aim more for the former.

I don't really get Crispin Freeman. His voice is too deep for Magi-chan. I would put my money on Troy Baker IMO.
My reasoning is that Magi-chan tends to be the snarky one in some fanon, but I also think back to that British accent that he had in the animated series. But I don't think a snarky character would sound that OTT, so I opted for Freeman since he can do a decent faux-British accent and has voiced characters like Kyon who have this kind of dry, sarcastic sound to them. And of course there's the British accent being a shorthand for intellect or sophistication.
