It was like a four-year-old girl was stuck in his adult troon body, but iy was obvious that he was still a somewhat-functional adult.

Either way, that's not normal behavior, and it's the sort of thing that would give most people enough pause to at least try to figure out what the weirdo is doing and to warn their kids to keep away from him. There are a lot of ways of quantifying mental defectiveness; not all indicators will necessarily be the same in all cases.

Talking to yourself in public is a much bigger red flag for a major mental illness, whether you're autistic or not. The issue of Chris talking to himself is whether or not he's babbling in public about the dimensional merge or if he's just expressing random thoughts out loud when he's alone in his room or in front of Barb, who's used to it already.

Obviously everybody talks to themselves, I mean straight on conversing with his cartoon playmates alone in his room. Hell, he even says he does. Everybody talks to themselves, but I can absolutely picture Chris talking to magi-Chan.

But I temper that with saying I don’t think it’s a schizophrenia thing, I would put it more akin to when hes thinking he’s moving things with his mind. The best parallel I can draw is a kid with an imaginary friend(as lots have also pointed out). If that kid is in a house fire, he’s not going to expect his imaginary friend to help him. Chris would be the same. If anything, his constant changing of the rules when challenged, “if magi-Chan is so powerful, why can’t he make money appear, Chris? Huh?”, shows that he knows there’s only so far he can play in the real world. If Chris was really crazy, he’d be just as stumped as we are that he’s so powerless when he needs it most. Hell, he’d be pissed.

The parents of Charlottesville and Ruckersvile have to keep their children away from him like he's some ogre who will eat them and we laugh and mock him like he's Quasimodo at the festival of fools... because truly a FOF would be the only place Chris wouldn't be seen as a misshapen ugly outcast.
