I still think he could still be eased back into begrudgingly respecting reality if the circumstances started to turn the thumb screws on his comfort. Like you say, if the power went out and he had to scamper to pay the bills.

But it'll probably get so bad, so quickly that it'll be too late for him to learn enough lessons to turn his life around. He'll probably end up in a homeless shelter for a couple months until some good samaritan helps him get into section 8 housing.

So in other words, he’ll be fucked until someone decides to get their name in Christory by putting a roof over his head.

1. Chris completely ignores the event and does the thing described above.
2. He completely loses his damn mind and gets shacked up in an institute.
3. He gets dumped onto his wannabe film critic brother and we get more shenanigans: The Chandler Brothers Edition. He's already pretty pathetic, so adding chris into that mix would only create a swirling miasma vortex of entitled autism and poshy-self-fart-sniffing.
