Two hours just to drive to GameStop. It's like one of the handful of times that Chris has suffered the consequences of his actions permanently.

Chris gets stars in his eyes for the other town in Virginia he visits. It's got a shiny mall and a bunch of stores he isn't banned from. He can't think critically enough to realize that the reason he finds it to be such a cool place is specifically because he hasn't been banned yet. Charlottesville is more or less a pretty nice place for Chris' purposes, he's just banned from everywhere.
Chris thinks so very slowly.
Like Chris would have to go through several cycles of getting banned from everywhere before he realizes the common thread between them.
Each time, he'd think "ok, one more try, I can fix this, I know exactly how not to get banned next time".

All he has to do is not chimp out and if he does and they ask him to leave, assume that he is the fuckup and just leave quietly. If he just did the latter, he wouldn't end up permabanned. All of his permabans are because he is too fucking dumb to leave somewhere when he's told to.
He may be too autistic to know what is and isn't chimping out and so will probably chimp out even if he's not trying to, but even someone as dumb as Chris should be able to understand the concept that if you are asked to leave somewhere, you just do.
The fact is he's just an asshole.

I mean at this point how do we know she truly isn't dead? This dimensional merge shit would let him 'fix' his mother. She'd be alive again, no problems!
