Whenever it snowed no one was allowed outside as the teachers were scared of someone slipping or getting hit by a snowball. We just sat inside and looked at the perfect snow covering the playground. I'm still seething as we only got a few days of good snow per year.

The school's website deleted the staff photo section as students kept making them the background of their PowerPoints or just littering them throughout random documents.

They also banned "Gogo crazy bones" (small plastic jacks) when some retard almost choked to death on one.

In the 90s 7-Up had a marketing slogan "Make 7-Up Yours" and they had T-shirts that said "MAKE 7" on the front and "UP YOURS" on the back. My middle school banned those shirts.

And in my senior year of high school the entire senior class got off-campus lunch privileges revoked for the whole year because some dumbass stoners got caught smoking weed in the woods across the street from school. Fuck that school, only went there for one year and it was the worst school I ever went to.

They introduced Yoshi in an issue of Nintendo Power and in the intro comic he could only speak his name, like Pikachu. Well, my and the boys decided we were going to be like Yoshi and say nothing but Yoshi. The teachers got sick of it in about five minutes and banned the word "Yoshi" for the rest of the school year.

My school banned talking in the halls. No shit. Our in between classes was a mass of kids not talking because the school district paid out the ass for a massive amount of vice principals to enforce it. That shit worked in the suburbs but I doubt it would have worked in an inner city school. After that principal left, they cut the fat on the vice principals and things worked better.

Back in elementary a friend of mine got sent to the principal's office only for drawing stickmans in war shooting and beheading each other.

Also, thousands years ago, i challenged an idiot classmate to piss on the teacher´s desk. I thought he was gonna take it sarcastically, but it seems irony receptors werent fully developed in his brains, so he literally made a waterfall. At that precise moment, the teacher enters and he instantly tells her it was my plan all long. We got to the principal´s office.

Finger skateboards. They were really popular back then. Can't let those damn kids have fun

VPN's were banned at my college during the Silk Road scandal, and over an understandable concern that people were downloading CP or copies of the unabomber manifesto

One of the faculty staff was fired for having Industrial Future and Its Consequences in his office, and they thought he was going to blow up the campus

I used to vandalise wikipedia articles like a little shit, one time a teacher saw what I was doing and pulled me up. She asked me what I was doing and I badly explained it. I say badly explained, because she somehow got the impression I had hacked the site and threatened to call the police on me. It was only after I showed her that anyone could edit wiki pages (this was when it was a new-ish site) she dropped it.
