I called the police and yelled JULAAAAY at them until they hung up and then 10 minutes later Chris got arrested. Coincidence?
 
If he violated the EPO on Friday (which I'm pretty sure he did) why would they wait until Sunday evening to arrest him? He was basically a sitting duck in that motel, it's not like he was on the run.
 
The protective order violation, if it was determined a violation, of course, is one possibility.

If Chris were being taken for a psych evaluation they'd probably have an ambulance there. That's kind of the norm for that sort of situation. Sedation might be needed or some sort of tard wrangler given Chris' medical history. It's possible that Covid might affect this, I'm not sure.

If they were taking him into protective custody I don't know why they would need the handcuffs, but frisking him would be pretty normal if they were putting him in a squad car. Wouldn't be surprising with all the vultures hovering outside his hotel room and some crazy fat stalker at the mall trying to locate him.

It's possible they found something in the rape kit--it doesn't have to be semen, it could be vaginal trauma or even signs of intercourse--and they could have acted on that. If the people doing the investigating are motivated enough rape kits can come back pretty quick. I could see this being expedited if Barb's evaluation shows advanced mental degradation or dementia.

I mean, if I say you stole my truck and you post on Facebook that you stole my truck, they don't need to dust the truck for finger prints to arrest you. They might need that to convict you, but to arrest?

Yes, only because you are dealing with a woman of questionable mental competence and the rapist is the son she was probably still the adult legal guardian of because he is a developmentally disabled man. Trying to figure out wtf happened between two mentally incompetent adults living alone together, plus mega internet autism, wouldn’t have a DA rushing to the judge for a warrant within hours on a Friday.

Chris being an autistic disabled adult makes the situation a lot more complicated.

Except she probably didn't say "my son raped me", followed by him posting on facebook "I raped her".

We have an elderly woman at the hospital who probably doesn't know much of what's going on (or, if she does, then she WANTED the relationship according to Chris so she won't toss him under the bus). Which means we have an edited call and some text messages that randoms on the internet have been sending them (which is why they showed up to the house in the first place and....didn't arrest him). Now Sunday, without anything new, they show up at his hotel and arrest him for rape because he said he had sex with her on the internet which they saw when they first went to his house?

An actual comparison would be "some random guy calls the police and says this other guy had sex with his mother. police remove him while they check it out. then they...hear it again and arrest him?"

And, no, posting on facebook "I had sex with my mother" is NOT enough to get your arrested, or charged, with anything literally anywhere in the US. You can post "I killed 5 people" and send it to the police right now they won't arrest you lol

I'm aware, I was just saying that sperm can stay in there if there is. Also you can't just flush out sperm 100%.
 
I would imagine it’s the violation of the protection order by stealing money from his mother, as reported by our boy jersh.
