What to do when blackpilled

Exercise a lot and get a lot of sleep, sober.

Basic self control and the tiniest bit of discipline is probably too much to ask though.

When my life was shittier and I was feeling bummed out I would just run a lot and do push ups. Then I spent the last five years busting my ass and now my life is much better. Give it a try. Figure it out. Or don't, not my problem.
 
Stop reading news for a few days at least. Keep yourself busy other ways. Avoid places with 24/7 news coverage.
 
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Try to not get "blackpilled" (cope term for being an unfun doomer) in the first place.
 
Get off social media or stop going to the places that consistently provide this feeling for you.

You're alive, that's more than enough of a white pill to get you going.
 
You are on Kiwi Farms, which has insisted on not dying like our enemies wanted. Null is optimistic about the future, and has stated we have people from multiple walks of life in our corner. It's not hopeless; if it was, their propaganda would be unnecessary.
 
I've figured it out for myself. But I fail every time I try to help another person. Wish I could just pack my experience and tools and let them upload it in their head.
It's extra weird when you see someone older going through it. They tend to be convinced it's wisdom that brought them there, not inexperience with handling the flow of information online.
 
1) get out from the internet
For most people is is enough lol
2) do something with your hands - cook, clean your room, do something in your garden /car, etc.
3) start doing sports, hit the gym
4) go hiking / tracking if you can, one week without internet access does wonders

The key is managing your exposure to media and internet. Remember that life is not reddit.
 
If you genuinely believe in immanent good that is worth protecting and striving for, then you can never get truly blackpilled.

Getting plenty of sleep, some regular exercise, eating enough vegetables, going out in nature and hanging out with people in real life helps too. And, last but not the least, spend less time on the Internet reading about things that make you angry. Human perspective is limited, and the more bad things you interact with and consume, the more negative your whole perspective on life will become.
