First, dress up like whatever you believe an intelligence agency interrogator would look like in your head. It's all about personal immersion first and foremost. I prefer the classic "Men In Black" look, timeless.

Second, insert whichever hand you're okay injuring into the sockpuppet's puppetry orifice.

Third, interrogate the sock puppet for as long as you would like, however you would like. During this, you're in your own little Guantanamo Bay. The only people that can take this from you are your family and friends who see what you're doing to your non-dominant hand, so do exercise prudence when carrying out your intel acquisition.
