The original Mel Gibson movie was ironic because women don't even know what the fuck they want, so there's no way a man could. This "remake" is ironic because the main character is a black lady, and since when have they ever cared about what men wanted?
 
So there’s this website called The Movie Spoiler which will essentially post the full plot of the movie if you don’t want to see it but are still interested. They basically pay the first person to post the full plot in detail a $25 gift card to do so.

There’s still no What Men Want plot posted.

yeah, the basic premise works in the original because most guys are really clueless about that stuff.
Women instead, generally have men figured out pretty well, so it really doesnt work in this context.
